He heard a woman's faint moaning from inside. Ellis was sure it was Selina—Angelica and Katie had told him they'd drug her and lock her in his room.
He tried the light switch twice, but it wouldn't turn on. He wasn't going to wait any longer.
Excited, he threw himself onto the woman on the bed.
Katie, heavily drugged, was on the verge of passing out, but she clung to the last thread of consciousness, desperate to give some kind of warning.
