To the gem people, what they saw was that they were dying left and right without any reason. This kind of silent death struck fear into their heart. They soon began to consider retreating.
Their intention to escape for their lives became stronger and unstoppable when their leaders died in front of them without fighting a single enemy. Their enemies had simply dropped dead, so their fear made them all turn back and run away as fast as they could.
But the nascent souls didn't let them go. The nascent souls continue to kill them as easily as a giant crushing a chicken with its foot.
In order not to be left behind, Arthur inflated the blue lightning snake into a blue giant snake and sent it forward to kill enemies, too. So the combined might of a visible but unstoppable enemy and an invisible but lethal enemy began to take the lives of the gem people.
