It was clear to the old Sun King that the new Sun King cared more for him than the Snow King, but the look of shock on the new Sun King's face was more grating to see for the Sun King than the look of joy on the new Snow King's face.
Things got worse when the look of surprise on the face of the new Sun King changed to that of disappointment. This made the old Sun King feel ashamed.
