Chapter 45 - chapter 45: Dawn of Chaos

Sitting in front of the rift, Maria grits her teeth as Chaos bolts start to destroy the area around her. As the sky started to pour down with rain, Maria stood up rapidly and flew into the sky. As she noticed a city in the distance. A massive grin went across her face as she said, "Maybe a little chaos will draw this dragon from its slumber." At incredible speed she arrived at the city. While looking down there were no humans in sight as Maria let out a sigh. Her prosthetic arm started to make noises before a handle was sticking out the side of it. As she grabbed it, the handle transformed into a giant greatsword imbued with pure chaos magic. Maria dove down to the city and started destroying and cutting the city into pieces; with every attack, the ground shakes. While walking through the destroyed city, Maria felt a massive amount of magical energy coming directly towards her. Suddenly A massive amount of flying blades headed directly towards Maria. Without hesitation she swiftly destroyed them with her greatsword, but then she sensed a massive sword in the sky. The ground beneath her cracked while she planted her feet; a massive amount of chaos magic was building through her body. Her mouth opened, and she fired a massive beam of chaos that completely destroyed the giant sword. Also, in the process, she split the sky open. While chaos within her started to disappear, Maria started getting attacked from all directions; multiple slashes started to cut through her clothes. In a rage of frustration, she swung her sword, but it didn't hit anything instead. Nicole grabbed Maria's arm, stopping the attack. As Maria tried to pull her arm away, it felt like something was stopping her from moving her body. Nicole spoke in a calm tone and said, "How interesting. I have never seen an aura so chaotic. Swiftly Nicole punched Maria in the face as multiple swords followed up and cut Maria's flesh. While being slightly dazed, Maria started to laugh hysterically and said, "I see how you are manipulating the gravity, trying to slow me down.""For someone without sight, you really are smart, but it won't be enough." Nicole's attacks didn't let up, but then she noticed multiple projectiles coming towards her. While Nicole swiftly destroyed them, Maria punched Nicole into the ground. While she mounted her, Maria started gathering chaos and began to beat the life out of Nicole. For 5 minutes straight Maria's face and arms were covered in blood as Nicole was on her final breath. Maria spoke in a cunning tone: "How interesting that after all that, you're still not dead? How about this: you become my slave, and I will give you nothing but pleasure. I like me a strong type, or you can die here." A massive amount of blood came out of Nicole's mouth before a single word came out: "reset". Maria was dumbfounded, then the blue markings on Nicole's body began to shine as all of her wounds slowly healed, and she returned to the moment, catching Maria's greatsword. Maria looked left to right as she couldn't believe what happened as Nicole pushed Maria into a building while saying, "It doesn't matter how many times I come close to death. I will always return to this very moment. As a floating hourglass tied to a twinblade was floating in the sky. Maria pushed Nicole away and said, "What an impressive spell, but it won't help you. I am going to break you and force you to submit." Nicole clashed with Maria until sunset and said, "I can do this for a long time. Let's see how much more you can take." Nicole was going through the plan in her mind as she set up this grand spell lamp of Uriel to slow down Maria as she said, "Backup better come quick; this woman is a monster."
