The mercenaries all skidded to a halt simultaneously, as absolutely nobody—not even Grey's own teammates—was capable of keeping track of his high-speed trajectory.
It suddenly felt as if he had become the personification of the blur himself; the only things the spectators could perceive were the heavy bangs and sharp thunderclaps resounding violently across the town square.
In the blink of an eye, he materialized beside one of the startled bandits.
Before the man could even begin to react, Grey's lightning-imbued gauntlet slammed into his torso, sending massive joules of raw electricity and agonizing pain coursing through his nervous system.
