"It's our turn," the individual standing beside Grey remarked.
Grey shifted his gaze slightly to look at him, but his expression remained unreadable.
"Whatever!" Grey replied curtly.
He began walking toward the center of the arena, his hands tucked casually into his pants' pockets as if he were merely taking a stroll.
'You! You humiliated me during the first assessment,' the young man thought, following closely behind with a predatory smile spreading across his face.
'I was paralyzed by fear then, unable to act, but I have finally found my courage. Today, I will make absolutely sure to humiliate you in front of everyone gathered here.'
Grey reached the front of the coliseum, with the black, curly-haired individual trailing just a few paces behind.
As they took their positions, a wave of hushed mumblings began to ripple through the ranks of the other participants.
