The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

In a world teeming  with mages. A world where more than half the human population had awesome affinities ranging from wind, earth to lightning and so on.

Grey Dawn had none. He was weak, useless, magicless and most importantly… a cripple in terms of magic usage.

Not until an accident where he almost brushed past death.

Summoned by a celestial, the seal placed on his core was shattered and there he was appraised.

Grey found out not only will he wield magic, he would come to become the strongest mage in existence with five affinities.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

But it wasn't enough.

The foe the world was up against were not weak by any means. The Otherworlders!

Destroyers of planets, conquerors of worlds. Beings with destructive powers and backing.

These were the kind of foes he was up against. 

Grey would learn that his magic isn't enough against them. And the Otherworlders won't be the only foes he would be up against.

Demons, cocky celestials, powerful warriors— masters of Ki, Terrifyingly powerful clans and Ki warriors.

He will  realise that he would be needing something more. He would be needing to transcend his current self and status.

He would need to evolve into something more so as to stand a fighting chance against the otherworlders and the much more terrible foes beneath the surface.

He would need to become; The Supreme Magus!

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

"What the hell…?!" he shouted, his voice echoing against the jagged rim of the crater. 


Behind the towering volcano, Grey could see a vast expanse of lush forests stretching toward the horizon. 


They were nothing like the grim, shadowed woodlands he had traversed to get here; in this place, the trees appeared incredibly fresh and vibrant, lacking the sickly, partly dead appearance of the flora from his side of the mountain.


This verdant sanctuary was filled with beautiful, emerald leaves and young, thick-looking trunks that were intertwined and woven together in a magnificent natural tapestry.


 Birds perched on the sturdy branches, singing melodies that felt ancient, while various animals that didn't resemble dangerous beasts were seen running around happily without a single worry.
