"How did this happen?" The doctor asked as he flashed a light into Airon's unconscious eyes using a magical device.
"One instant he was sitting beside me in the carriage and the next, he was laying in the field unconscious with cuts and bruises all over him." Pultra explained.
"His mana core has ruptured, usually that would've been enough to kill some in of itself but he's expelling and absorbing mana at a rapid rate. Meaning that his body is still active and his soul is still present, possibly trying to revive himself."
"What are you trying to say?" Kayden asked as he looked at Airon who laid unconsciously with his eyes rolled back with black marks covering his entire body.
"I'm going to keep it blunt. He should've died hours ago or whenever his mana core ruptured however there's something keeping alive. There's nothing we can do here besides monitor the situation. The best we can do is get a few magic crystals to keep his mana regulation in motion but that's all."
