The first day of exams went suspiciously well.
Too well, actually, at least according to the rest of the academy, because the members of DG were quickly becoming synonymous with "controversial excellence."
Even Theo, who had attended classes with unwavering diligence, found himself receiving intense scrutiny despite already choosing the worst materials he could justify. For even then, those crappy materials were still leaps and bounds better than wat everyone else used.
Not to mention his meticulous use of spiritual energy, which made it appear as though he had practiced this many times. Because he really did, it was one thing he did daily, and it would be hard to make it look bad when he's tried so hard to improve his control.
But the exams were done live, and even then, no one could really contest his results. After all, they were the ones who emphasized how being resourceful and lucky were also a part of becoming a pharmacist.
