'What I do know is that for the floor to be cleared the floor boss needs to be defeated. I have to be the one to defeat the boss!'
One thing Blake was sure of was that he wasn't the only human taking part in clearing the first floor. They were bound to be other humans that appeared in the other spawn points.
Hold on, but I didn't see anyone appear in this spawn point with me.
Whether it was by luck, Blake was sure of it, he and Cassie were the only human that got teleported to this area. His eyes scanned the area for a moment before finally landing on the tear that began to form before him.
Slowly, the tear widened forming a pulsating portal.
[Congratulations to Blake Allsworth for being the first to clear his area...]
[You've have broken the record of fastest Area cleared in the tower...]
[You can now access the Floor Boss dungeon]
Oh. I see. So the portal leads to the floor Boss. What I'm I waiting for then. With a cocky grin, he took hold of Cassie before walking towards the portal.
Placing one of his hands at first, he felt nothing. It's safe.
Passing the portal, he appeared in what appeared to be a forest with large towering trees. The thing that caught his eyes was the large gate floating mid–air.
[You've come across the gate of the Floor boss]
[The gate to the floor boss is sealed for now and would open when the conditions are met]
[Countdown would now begin...]
[29: 59]
Countdown? The floor boss would open when the countdown is over. Let's see if there's anything in this area while the countdown is still on.
Just as he was about to move, another portal opened just shy away from his spot.
From the portal, a slender guy with a wave of amethyst hair walked out from the portal. His ruby eyes landed on Blake and then with a frown he walked towards the floating gate.
Blake felt a pulse as he stared at the purple haired figure. He felt a stir from the depths of his soul for a moment but it quickly faded.
He's probably from the other areas. This is going to be tough.
Although he was staring away he couldn't help but feel an inexplicable connection to the individual standing tall with a 'I dont give a damn' expression on his face.
His initial thoughts of exploring the area had come to a standstill. Let's rest for a bit, he said to Cassie patting her head with a smile.
As the time flew, more portals opened up with more individuals coming forth. The once calm area occupied by two was now filled with over twenty people all eager to enter the dungeon.
[00: 59]
This is it. Get ready Cassie. Staring around, he couldn't help but feel a tinge of excitement. The floor boss is mine! He thought pumping his fists.
Quite a few individuals had caught his eyes. There was a pink haired pony style girl linking a lollipop the whole time. She was wearing normal clothes as if on a picnic but a menacing katana hung across her waist as if warning any from coming close.
Her eyes was shut the whole time while she moved her head as if dancing to the rhythm of a song.
Another was a huge guy with a giant axe on his back and hands folded throughout the time.
Blake felt they were people to watch out for. The strange purple haired guy was another individual to watch out for.
But Blake felt confident. He could tell... he could tell he was the strongest amongst the lot!
[00:03...]
[00:02...]
[00:01...]
The area rumbled as the floating gate let out a bright light momentarily blinding those present. The once sealed gate was now opened, a portal left in its place.
[Dungeon to the floor boss has been opened...]
[Defeat the floor boss to access the next floor]
With Cassie already on his back, immediately the portal appeared, Blake dashed forward, his figure a blur to quite a few.
What the hell! Who was that!
Dammit! He's already getting an head start!
Meanwhile, Blake continued forward, his dagger cutting through the waves of goblins that blocked his path.
Inside the dungeon was a large corridor whith glowing stones embedded on the walls. Right now running forward, Blake kept getting blocked by goblins with their crude weapons.
Damn goblins! Swinging his chains forward, his dagger cleaved through the group of goblins blocking his path. I feel am not even closer to a level up. This is annoying.
Just as he was about to take a bend, a gust of wind blew past him with the reflection of a figure speeding forward.
What! There's someone able to match my speed? Even surpass it?!
Keeping his daggers, he crouched lightly and then kicking off the ground sped forward.
Dashing forward, he could see the remains of goblins torn apart and were just beginning to turn into motes of light.
He's not far! Pouring mana to his legs, he exploded tearing through the flooring. He could finally make out the figure. The first thing that came into view was his waves of deep purple hair cascading behind.
That guy! I knew he was different from the rest when I first saw him. Increasing his speed, he looked past him, a slight smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
Alright time to locate the boss room. It's best I evade the goblins, the rest can have fun with them.
Just as his high senses picked a distant room filled with a dense amount of mana, a figure sped past him.
Don't get in my way, the voice echoed as it easily evaded the goblin and further kicking a few towards Blake.
Blake was speechless. I guess it's time we take it top notch then! Activating the invisible Dash skill, Blake figure was a blur as he stormed through the corridor.
The gust of winds forming around him through off all goblins standing in his way before he reached them. His figure streaked past the purple haired figure and finally, he could see the boss room ahead.
He continued forward, tearing through the door before skidding to a stop.
So you're the floor boss, huh?
