"No wonder... this strange yet exhilarating feeling was all because of the upgrade," he muttered, clenching his fist. "I'm at the peak of the Mortal rank now. Let's see the new class." New things had been added, but he couldn't help but raise his brows on the question marks in front of the Talent tab.

Shrugging, he finally arrived at what he had been waiting for.

[Keeper of The Dead: A ??? class that serves as the bridge between the world of the living and the realm of the dead]

[For class to be fully unlocked, Host needs to obtain 0/3 fragments]

'This is unheard of. Normally one needs to pass the Class and Rank advancement test to obtain a class. This...'

"Huh? I see. Though the class is partially unlocked, I still got three new skills under the class."

The last under the class skills, he had no idea. He didnt know what to make of it, at least for now. The first and third class skills were pretty explanatory, unlike the other one and the class description.

"It's time to find a way out." Walking forward, he slowly approached the only entrance with caution.

Passing through, a blast of cold wind hit his face, billowing his hair. "A cave?" Staring down, he could see a dense mass of snowy terrain. The cave was a few metres above the ground, and he was able to see further ahead.

Lowering his knees slightly, he leapt high, the cold wind slamming into his body, and then he finally began to descend. Landing on the ground, he raised his head with an expressionless face. He appeared a bit loss for a moment, and then his lips curled into a slight smile.

'My body has really gone through changes,' he thought. Scanning his surroundings for a moment, he finally began to move. 'I'm not sure I'm in a tower. The landmarks, these are of earth.'

"Or maybe it's the same in the towers?" He muttered as he pressed on, running through the dense trees. "No, I'm sure of it... I'm out of that cursed tower."

He could see it, a sign. A large sign which the middle had been ripped off but was able to read a few letters left and piece them together. The A**ic *ar.

"The Antic Bar... Where did I hear that before?" He thought, coming to a stop. Before him was a huge building with ten floors, which appeared to be deserted.

His breath hitched as he entered the building through the broken door. He couldn't help but let out a frown. The scent of rot was heavy in the air.

The dim light filtering through the broken windows revealed unsettling details. Cracked walls, broken chairs and tables scattered across the large room.

His eyes caught sight of dried up blood and a decayed corpse half eaten, lying on the marbled floor.

What the hell happened here. He thought as he fought to suppress the urge to vomit, struggling to hold back the saliva that threatened to spill. It appeared a beast had been let loose, and rampaged through the room without mercy. Continuing forward with cautious steps, he climbed the stairs, heading to the second floor.

He caught sight of more dried up blood, on the stairs, the walls, and even smeared on the ceiling.

'This is getting creepy.' Entering the second floor, the same strange pattern he met. More and more dried up blood with bits of decayed flesh.

Climbing the next four floors, he couldn't find anything. 'This is a waste of time,' he thought after a long sigh.

"The top floor would probably be the manager's office. Maybe I'll be able to get some information there."

'Talking about information,' he thought facepalming himself. "I can just check up the Antic Bar in the System Map. Why didn't I think of that?"

Quickly accessing the system panel, and in a few seconds, the information finally popped up.

[The Antic Hotel]

[Location: The Royal Palace District]

[Continent: Frostbite Continent]

Blake stopped in his tracks, staring at the floating words. "The... the Frostbite Continent! How did I get here?!! That's like a hundred thousand miles away from the Layton Continent!"

"Was this the doing of the tower?" Looking at the holographic map that had popped up along with words, his jaws tightened with a frown. "The Royal palace isn't far from here. Also, in the opposite direction... there's a tower."

'What's with the countless red dots rapidly moving.' He thought, scratching his head. Staring at the map, he discovered the red dots were also in the Antic Hotel.

"That will be above me. Well, it seems it won't be long before I find out what that means."

During the few minutes, he had gone through another floor, leaving two floors left. Climbing the stairs once more, this time around, the stairs were less stained with blood.

Walking steps by steps, he made it through the long, narrow hall and about to make a turn when he suddenly stopped. Slowly, stepping backwards, he stared at the figure moving towards him in slow, steady steps, and then, with a burst of speed, the figure charged at him, it's six legs making a loud metallic sound.

"Shit! What's a monster doing here!" He thought caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the creature.
