Chapter 433 - Rope and Katsuhisa

Rope looked at Katsuhisa with a flat face.

Although it was true that Katsuhisa had given him a certain amount of surprise today, but if it was only to this extent, then Katsuhisa's strength didn't exceed the highest level that Rope could accept.

After all, although he originally thought that Katsuhisa was alone, but now, if it was just this kind of situation, he didn't have much of a problem with one person.

Rope himself was strong, and his Pokémon were definitely not weak. It wasn't something that these six Soul Beasts that Katsuhisa had found could deal with.

Katsuhisa had underestimated Rope, who was a standard trainer.Rope's Pokémon had undergone rigorous battle training, which was no easy task. Many times, the subconscious reactions that the Pokémon themselves made with their instincts weren't the right ones.

That was why the trainer's command was needed to give the most appropriate instructions and commands. Of course, the correctness of this instruction depends on the level of the trainer.

And what Rope had given the Pokémon was to help them change those instinctive wrong reactions, and set them up a great deal on what kind of reactions they should give when facing different situations in battle.

This kind of work was definitely not simple. After all, a lot of the time, such instinctive reactions were even more difficult to fight than those addictive drugs.

Rope had wasted a lot of effort to succeed as well. And that was even with a mature human training system.

How can Katsuhisa expect his Pokémon to touch Rope's Pokémon when he doesn't even have access to these things?

That's why Katsuhisa's arrogance is what kills him the most.

Too much underestimation of human intelligence and the accumulation of so many years. Priding himself as a god, he was unwilling to even lower his head to look at the progress of humanity.

Rope looked at the youth and a brilliant golden flame ignited in his hand before he hooked his hand at Katsuhisa.

Katsuhisa looked at Rope's arrogant appearance and disdainfully skimmed her mouth, but the bottom of her eyes were filled with scorn and vigilance. Even if the guy in front of her looked like an asshole, this person's strength was right here.

If that giant dragon that he had never seen before was under his command...did that mean that the strength he was showing now, which was similar to his own, was still false?

His true strength was far stronger than his own. Katsuhisa then subconsciously used her ability to feel the stone in her coat pocket.

Just thinking about it, Katsuhisa mentally told herself.

[Impossible, absolutely impossible, this Rope guy is just a human. As a human, they have limits.]

Thinking so now, Katsuhisa felt much more confident, so she took a deep breath, letting her thoughts calm down as much as possible, then silently gripped the invisible longsword in her hand three times tighter.

In the next instant, Katsuhisa disappeared from her position, and Rope felt the sharp aura coming from below, and immediately raised his head, and at the same time, the longsword in his hand swung towards the ground in front of him.

Katsuhisa, who had picked out a blade from below towards Katsuhisa's face, felt that burning wave of air, and immediately left one hand free to gather another long sword, wanting to block Rope's long sword down.

However, when that invisible short blade and Rope's long sword collided, it was cut off with almost no blocking effect.

Katsuhisa also cursed, then retreated without hesitation.

But Rope's sword was too fast, and even so, he was left with a wound on his neck by Rope's sword, but there wasn't much blood coming out. The wound was toasted. It was always said that other people moved smoothly like a hot knife cutting butter. Now the feeling of becoming butter yourself was really bad.

But Rope's offense wasn't that simple.

Looking down at Katsuhisa who was retreating, Rope did not hesitate to slam a hard punch towards his opponent.

The flames came off and transformed into a roaring divine dragon that hissed and blasted towards Katsuhisa.

The corner of Katsuhisa's mouth twitched. It seemed like he had seen this move somewhere before.

Thinking about the end of the short sword he had just condensed, he felt that if he really had to fight this move hard there was a good chance that he would just hit gg.

So he chose to dodge. But the problem was, even if he thought with his toes, he knew that Rope's move was definitely capable of tracking. If he didn't dodge well, he might have to be hit in the vitals.

There wasn't much time left for Katsuhisa to think. Almost instantly, the Flame Dragon had already approached, and Katsuhisa could only subconsciously dodge towards his left hand, so that even if the Flame Dragon leaned towards him, he would still be able to use the long sword in his right hand to block it for a bit, giving himself some time.

However, the Flame Dragon didn't attack this way again, but after missing Katsuhisa, it flew straight upwards. Before Katsuhisa could be surprised, he had already sensed something bad.

A wave of heat was coming towards his side in a surprise attack.

Rope looked at Katsuhisa, who was dodging in this direction, the corner of his mouth hooked up a smile, and with the longsword tightly clenched in his hand, he swung out a blade fiercely in Katsuhisa's direction.

The reddish-golden fire blade in the shape of a curved moon flew towards Katsuhisa's direction.

Katsuhisa hurriedly changed direction, the longsword in his hand slashed fiercely at the fire blade, the fire blade was knocked off course and flew out, but before Katsuhisa could retract the blade, Rope had already appeared at his side.

At this moment, Katsuhisa is just the old force is gone, the new force has not yet been born, can only look at Rope raised the long sword, toward his own ruthless slash down.

Katsuhisa's veins blossomed at the corners of her forehead. The light red super energy in her eyes overflowed.

The next instant the longsword slashed down, stirring up a large amount of smoke and dust.

Katsuhisa stood on a rock in the distance, wearing a rough breath and wiping the sweat from her head.

The invisible longsword in her hand had already shattered, but fortunately the sword itself was formed by the cohesion of superpowers, so it didn't hurt too much. However, looking at the figure at the place where the smoke and dust rose, Katsuhisa couldn't help but rise.

Katsuhisa couldn't help but feel a deep sense of powerlessness.

Rope's battle sense and strength were much stronger than his. Even if he himself had practiced hard in combat for over sixty years. There was still little power to fight back as well.

Rope's strength...was no longer something he could touch.

Just as he thought that, after the smoke gradually cleared, Rope's face wore a smile, and his left hand, which was not holding a sword, clenched its fist and slammed downward.

Katsuhisa's heart was alarmed, and as expected, the dragon roar came again from not far above.Katsuhisa was desperate.Rope's fiery dragon didn't dissipate at all, or anything else, he just swam around the stage, and then crept closer at this time, giving Katsuhisa a big hit.

Katsuhisa let out a loud shout and activated her superpower with all her might, a pillar of ice condensed around her body and rose up from the ground, stabbing straight towards the fire dragon. At the same time, Katsuhisa's hand also had electric light flashing, a plasma column also rushed towards the fire dragon over there. In an unseen place, an invisible long arrow was also shot towards the fire dragon.

Rope quietly watched Katsuhisa's performance from the side.

The simultaneous use of three origins, that in itself was already not easy. And Katsuhisa's proficiency in all three Origin sources was about the same, which was indeed something rather amazing. After all, tapping into the power of all three Origin sources at the same time was a difficult task in itself. Following one path to the end was a form of bravery and perseverance.

And it was even more of a talent to walk many paths together and to be able to continue to walk in unison after reaching a certain height.

Maybe Katsuhisa might become a big shot if he's given some opportunities.

But alas, no matter what, he's come this far now, and this, too, is basically the end of the line for him.

There was no way Rope would let him go, and it was even more unlikely that he would rise to any kind of talent sparing when this guy stood up against him.

What kind of genius is the best?

The first was a genius who could break through the ceiling in a certain area and expand the upper limit of a certain field. The second was a genius from one's own family. The third is a dead genius.

Katsuhisa couldn't do the first, wouldn't be the second, so Rope would have to make him the third.

The fire dragon would be flying apart under Katsuhisa's right attack, turning into a rain of fire all over the sky.

Katsuhisa gasped for air and even brought a hint of fear into her eyes as she looked at Rope.

This man, how could he be so strong?

Since she wanted to know, she might as well just try opening her mouth and asking, it didn't cost her anything anyway.

"Why are you, so strong?"

Katsuhisa out in gasping for air, asked this question that she was extremely puzzled by. This simply shouldn't be... there could no longer be any resources in this world that were better and more powerful than the origin that he, Katsuhisa, could get his hands on.

Even the power wielded by those gods was one, if not more than one, level inferior to the Origin.

But Rope knew very well that something like the Origin was a completely different strength with or without his master's hands.

It may seem like the current Origin is also very powerful, and Sennogi was even able to defeat a Champion-level Pokémon Old Whale on his own with the power of the Origin.

But if the Water Origin was in Al's hands, then the Old Whale wouldn't even be a match for Al.

Just like the flame, Rope believed that even if the Origin of Fire was in his own hands, it would still be just an ordinary Origin of Fire. Even the intensity of that flame was inferior to his own previous Red Flame.

But if it was in Al's hands, then that flame was the Sun Flame, strong and invincible.

But to say why he was so much stronger than Katsuhisa...

"You're using a power that isn't your own, there's no way to talk about being skillful or not. You definitely can't use something that isn't yours well. My chance, on the other hand, is much better than yours. Hmm, the talent should be good too."

Rope wasn't sure if he was boasting or not, anyway, looking at Katsuhisa's face was not a good look. But that didn't have much to do with Rope either, he was just saying what he felt.

Katsuhisa of course knew what Rope meant, the Origin was a great power that belonged to the gods, even if he was able to utilize it no matter how much he wanted to, he was still not a god himself in the end, unless he really did something like an extinction reboot. The whole person's position would be raised up at once, and at that time he wouldn't need to rely on Al's power.

With his own power he would be able to be a world lord in this world.

Katsuhisa had never seen the bigger stage, and that was all he had ever dreamed of.

Unlike Rope, Rope knew from the beginning that this world was not a separate world, it was connected to the Void and already had countless close ties. The will of the world was being born. How far this world would go in the future was anyone's guess. It might just be the next world that leaps up.

And it could be said that everyone in the void knew how much benefit a leaping world could bring.

But basically no one would come to push the world down when it leapt, or fight for it in a multi-party melee.

Because the will of the world at this time is protected by the will of the void. Only after the world had completed its leap could the people officially touch this world.

Of course, there were exceptions to this.

For example, people like Al who were originally born in this world.

For example, forces like the Company that earned money from saving the world.

The company had good connections with many of the Leapfrog worlds. So the company's resources were really rich. Wealthy to the extent that everyone was greedy. But there was nothing that could be done about it, it was still the same thing, the privileges that the older generation of the company had fought for, it was hard for others to move even if they wanted to.

And in this world, there was no doubt that someone was going to come out and fight for a piece. That black-skirted woman and the Katsuhisa in front of her were just pawns they'd pushed out.

But as of right now, that force wasn't putting in too much, not sure what they were worried about, and the MCA was similarly not reacting to this intruder, not sure what they were planning to do.

Rope was now both a player and a pawn.

The company didn't care about the gain or loss of this one world. Because the company wasn't short of this one world. What they want now is someone who can lead them on an upward leap.

Rope, is one of their targets.

So this world can be lost, but Rope has to give a bright enough performance.

And so far, they're happy with Rope's performance.

And Katsuhisa has been exposed to so much less than Rope. Even if it's because of the origin, it's because of the character, and the input being given behind the scenes, and of course the talent.

When one person is weaker than another, in many cases that weakness is not due to one reason alone. It leads to a whole body. One weakness will always lead to other weaknesses that will lead to nothing.

Often times, a person's weakness starts with a lead-in, followed by a myriad of reasons that keep him behind.

Rope looked at Katsuhisa in front of him.

It was a pathetic person, but...

A pitiful man with a hateful streak.

In a timeline that Rope hadn't changed, this was the man who literally slaughtered Lake Village, leaving Sennogi alone.

He may be a mess right now, but there are things that have happened and the only way to atone for them is to die.

"Anyway, Katsuhisa, today, you might as well die."

There was little smile on Rope's lips. There was even less cruelty. There was just plain as water and ancient.

Katsuhisa looked at that bland face, but was able to feel Rope's deep killing intent. He didn't know exactly why Rope would have such killing intent towards himself. But he knew that he only had two choices now.

Either die under Rope's sword and turn into flying ashes, true-ashes are raised for you.

Either...run!

As for how to choose? Hehe, do you still need to think about it?

Better to live on his knees, he, Katsuhisa, would not die standing.

He could still live for a long time, time was hope, and as long as he gave himself enough time, he could always find a chance to turn the tables.

So he pulled out a black stone from his own bosom.

Without hesitation, he crushed it.

Rope sensed something bad the moment he took out the stone.

But Katsuhisa's movements were too fast.

Crushing it was nothing more than an action. In fact, the stone had already been activated by the supernatural power while it was still in his arms. Even if Rope had reacted, it would have been useless.

But there was no way Rope would give up at this point.

The fire feathers behind him instantly unfolded, his body leaned forward, and he reached Katsuhisa's side almost instantly. At this moment, Katsuhisa had already revealed a smile. Like she was about to escape immediately.

But just when he was really close to this guy, Rope almost instinctively sensed that something was wrong and subconsciously tried to back away.

But the forward rush was just too fierce, it wasn't something that could be stopped with a single word of backing up right now.

As Katsuhisa looked at Rope in front of her, she smiled even more freely.

His body was constantly vaporizing, as if transforming into the state of a soul body.

"Rope, you're strong, but today, I won't die!"

Laughing, Katsuhisa completely vaporized and floated away to who knows where.

The black stone, on the other hand, was thrown at Rope by Katsuhisa before she left.

It was too late for Rope to dodge.

He could only wrap the black stone in flames, while Jean used the flames to form three walls of fire in front of him, and shielded his body in front of the Pokémon.

Without much hesitation, Eternatus pulled back the other five Pokémon that wanted to rush over and burst Rope, shielding them behind himself. Almost instantly, it entered the mode of the first stage of Infinite Giantization.

The five heads simultaneously held up a solid shield.

While holding up the shield, he helplessly cursed, ''Just the five of you are still thinking of going over to help Rope block the sword? Stop it, it's more like Rope is protecting you guys, don't go over and mess things up for him."

It was a lie to say that Eternatus wasn't worried. The black stone that was about to explode was a space teleportation prop. But it didn't occur to him that it was just a powerful bomb.

But to be honest, a bomb placed in the present is still really good to the point of being outrageous. Because Rope wasn't alone he couldn't possibly let this bomb blow up. He himself wouldn't necessarily have any problems, but Eternatus wouldn't even be able to carry this one bomb head on.

So the bomb exploded.

A fierce wind rose, smoke filled the air, and a powerful shockwave blew everything around them far away.

Whitley and the others were in the distance, and they only felt the ground shaking, and the valley that was almost ruined in the distance.

And the woman in the black dress sighed.

"It's a pity..."
