The meeting ended, and I was seething with anger from Damien's public display of affection. Back in my Office, going through documents I still couldn't get the thoughts of how close they were. When my phone buzzed with a message.
Clara was written. What now? I unlock my phone to see her message. "We need to see you, Its urgent." Emphasis on we. Clara was the human I was messing with, and she got pregnant even tho she wasn't my mate. I h'd told her to get rid of it. I paid her, but she was fascinated by me being a werewolf. Stupid girl thinks she can tie me down with a child.
Now she understands that she can't be my mate, and I never take her as my chosen mate our laws wouldn't allow it and not now I have eyes on another. I know she needs more money; what does she think I am? Her money bank. "Come to the company, wait for me on the last floor, and stay clear of Damien."
