*Irishki's POV*
After my embarrassing moment at the assembly, the student council president gave his speech, which I really didn't pay attention to as it really wasn't anything interesting, but I did catch one part of the president's speech that intrigued me, he said "This year in Pachi High we will be doing something a little better different than usual" I looked at the president with questioning eyes, he spoke up saying "As we know, every year we have the sports festivals and the cultural festival, we compete against each other to see which class is the best among them all" The students after hearing this were whispering to each other and thinking this is common knowledge among everyone, even I thought that our President has gone mad or something because even transfers even know that much.
The President spoke up loudly which caught everyone off guard "Yes! It's true that every year we compete with each other but year we will be competing against not ourselves but other schools!! We would challenge ourselves to get the award for the best sports/cultural festival, but we have not finalized this decision but as the student council of our school I will make it my point to to lead our school to the highest degree!!" There was brief silence, after the excellent speech given by the student president, just a moment later the crowd of students started to scream with excitement, the students said stuff along the lines of "We will show them the wrath of the students of Pachi high!!","Pachi High will receive that reward no matter what!!", with all this ruckus it even made me wish to attend the the events, I never was a fan of such fancy events but the students here have me pumped up for it!
After the presidents wonderful speech we all went our separate ways, I even lost Saki which is a very rare sight, but I am embarrassed to say this, but I have no idea where I am going, I even asked the janitor here where I could find the listing for all the students, and their respective classes, but all I got in return was a blank stare by him and then he just ignored me and walked past me like I was a random object, Now I was at some random floor looking for the list, but then suddenly "Hey new guy over here!" I looked behind myself and I saw a, clumsy looking girl coming from down the hallway," I asked across the hallway to him 'Who are you?!" "I am the vice pres. of the Report club our job is pretty simple, but unlike our reports these halls are complex" The girl coming towards me and introducing herself, she spoke again "You are a transfer right? You are looking for the listing to find in which class you are in? Come follow me!" she then suddenly grabbed me by my wrist and started to drag me towards the end listing hall, I don't know what I felt on that day, it felt like a thousand flowers had just bloomed inside of my heart, it felt had to breathe for a moment not as I was suffocating but of joy, the way she grabbed my wrist and smiled at me that day, something inside me had just clicked, like a code of my brain had just unlocked.
We then soon reached the hall, I then saw Saki looking for someone, and just before I could call out to hear the unknown girl said "Hey I am Yasuna Ohana a 2nd year of at Pachi High, if you ever consider to join a club we are always ready for a helping hand! Okay Bye!" just a moment after she left, Saki creeped up behind me and shot me with a hundred questions "Who was she? How do you know her? you already got yourself a girl when the year just began?!" " NO, Clam down too many questions for one man to handle! she just helped me to get to the listing hall that's all end of story" I quickly gave answers too Saki's hundred questions, but Saki didn't trust me with my story and said "Then why was she holding your hand? how do you think I will not ask you questions?" and that caught my attention and i started to think, why did she hold my hand and why was she in such a hurry? , Saki then understood by my plan look and asked in a disappointed tone "You really don't know why do you?" "Yea I have no idea." Saki them just told me we are in the same class so be back soon or you will late, and a additional thing that she told me to do that I should learn to read a girl emotions rather than sleeping in those books, I didn't know if I should take that as a compliment or as an insult in that moment.
I shrugged it off for the second, and I continued on with my stroll through the school because now I had all the time in the world, so I decided to find the vice pers of the Report club and thank her for showing me the way to the listing hall, and also ask about why she held my hand all of a sudden without any warning, but I was hesitant for a minute, and with a swift movement my heart felt heavy, I couldn't move, I felt chills up my spine, my body wasn't responding to my commands, I was stunned by something but what?
"Dude you alright? You seem like you say a ghost!" A voice behind me spoke , the person of who the voice belonged to came in front of me, " Are you still alive or nah? , Oh I am 2nd year Ena Mizuki, a pleasure to meet to meet you, what's your name?" "You are Ena as the meaning of 'God's gift' and Mizuki as 'Beautiful Moon'? , and I am Irishki Toko, 2nd year" I told him with a face of astonishment, thinking that everyone must have forgotten my 'Shining moment' in the assembly , but Ena destroyed my dreams with a fraction of a second "Are you not the guy, who fell in the assembly and laid there for 20 minutes *Holding back his laughter* " " Go ahead laugh it's not that serious, and do you know where is the Vice pres. of the report club" I told Ena, he just said quickly we don't have much time left, and that we would be late for class, and that's not something we want, so we rushed to our classroom and I almost got lost in this maze like school , we arrived there and Ena entered in before me and I was told by the teachers to come through the other door when they called us in, Saki was again waiting up for me.
"Where did you go and die for I was bored out of my mind!" " I was looking for that girl again to say thank you, I wouldn't even be on time if it wasn't for that boy!" she just brushed it of and waited for our names to be called, "Let's introduce our new transfers!" said our teacher, we had planned that I would go first but Saki had other plans, as I was about to go inside, she pulled me outside and went side before and, while she pulled me back she had that smug look on her face, that really blew out a nerve but I couldn't say anything as I had to act professional.
She started to introduce herself, so I thought to get my revenge as she was about to start I said in a soft voice that only she could hear " Saki look a spider is crawling up your leg" I giggled to myself as she heard what I said, "AHHH where is it?!' she screamed, and I knew it was my time to strike "Why are you screaming?!, you are acting as if a spider was about to crawl on your leg" I stated to make my lie more truthful, the teacher then calmed Saki down and reassured her that there was no spider, the scare was well worth the death stare she gave me after her introduction, now it was my turn " Good morning everyone, I am Irishki Toko, I came here to live in Tokyo after spending my whole life in Osaka, I hope you will treat me well" I bowed, I thought my introduction was fine till I saw Ena almost about to explode, I then realize that the whole class knew me by the name of 'Assembly Guy' it wasn't a good at all! but I had to be calm, I then went to my seat which our teacher told was between Saki and Ena, which was the worst placement ever, but as I looked around I saw the Vice pres. girl, she was sitting at the very beginning of the second last row and I was at the other side of the classroom, there were not many classes today as it was the first day, So I planned to express my gratitude to her after school ended.
All your classes were over now the only thing left to do was to go and approach her, but my body had other plans, I couldn't move! why was this happening to me, why am I incapable to move in her direction!, but now it was too late, she had left the classroom, and only then I was able to move, Ena had already went home so couldn't ask him, my only hope was Saki and she was at my house , she said that she had some work with my mom , yet it didn't matter now, I quickly rushed back home threw my bag onto the chair and there she was Saki she was helping my mom move some furniture, "Hi honey how was school, make any fri-" "Mum! can I borrow Saki for a moment?! and sorry for interrupting you but its urgent!" I asked mom in great hurry< she answered back quickly " Ye-yea sure just calm down okay?"
I thanked my mom and dragged Saki upstairs and closed the door abruptly, and before I could speak she asked " Wait let me guess! its about that girl right?" I nodded with at most admiration, so I asked calmly "Whenever I get close to her , or I try to get closer to her, my body just freezes, it just doesn't want to comply!" She stood up and sat on my chair and started to play games, and just grinned and said "This emotion is a dangerous one my boy, you best be careful, I have to tell you, so listen real close, * Gets up from the chair and whispers into his ear* its the feeling of love, you have fallen head over heels for that girl, there is no other explanation." then she goes onto my bed and lays there like she did some achievement, I was in complete and utter shock, there was total silence in the room for a while, I just sat there amazement, and I asked Saki in a soft voice "Is it really true, or are you messing with me brat?" "You know better than anyone that I wouldn't lie on such a serious topic and don't call me brat I will rip your skull open" I got up and on the bed with Saki, and tear drops fell to the ground, I was crying, I didn't know the real reason why I was crying, maybe I was still in shock, whatever it was it was the best thing ever, Saki slowly got up and patted me on the head, and before she left I said with tears still running down my eyes " Thank you for everything Saki I appreciate it" Saki just smiled and said "It's always my pleasure kid, now when I am down in the dumps you have to help me back" I nodded and she left the room leaving me to myself.
