[In the detention level, Director Nick Fury discovered Agent Coulson lying motionless against the bulkhead, his life slowly ebbing away from the grievous wound Loki had inflicted.]
["Sorry, boss! I let that bastard get away!" Coulson's voice was barely above a whisper, yet he was still trying to report his mission status even in his final moments.]
[Seeing that Coulson was still attempting to fulfill his duties despite being mortally wounded, Fury carefully removed the prototype weapon from the dying agent's leg and set it aside with reverence.]
["Stay with me, Phil! You're going to be fine! Look at me!" Fury gently held Coulson's face, trying desperately to keep him conscious and alert.]
[But Coulson was all too aware of his condition and the severity of his injuries. "No, sir... I think I'm clocking out," he said with the faintest hint of his characteristic dry humor.]
["Don't you dare give up on me!"]
["It's okay, boss," Coulson managed between increasingly labored breaths. "This was never going to work... if they didn't have something to avenge. They needed the push." His breathing became more shallow and irregular until it finally stopped altogether.]
[Nick Fury watched his most trusted agent take his final breath, and when he saw the medical team rushing toward their position, he silently stepped back to give them room while leaning heavily against the corridor railing, overwhelmed by grief.]
[Meanwhile, medical personnel were treating Agent Hill's injuries from the grenade blast when Fury's voice came through their communications system: "Agent Coulson is down. Agent Coulson is KIA."]
[Upon hearing this devastating news, Hill immediately pushed the medics away and listened intently to the information coming through her earpiece, her face reflecting the shock and sorrow of the entire crew.]
[Some agents who had worked closely with Coulson couldn't accept the reality and desperately wanted to attempt a rescue: "Medical team is en route to your position!"]
[But Fury's response was final and heartbreaking: "They're here. There's nothing they can do."]
[At that moment, everyone who had known and worked with Agent Coulson fell into stunned silence, the weight of his loss settling over the entire ship.]
"Oh, damn you, Loki!" Dr. Otto was the first to break the silence among the viewers, his voice heavy with grief before erupting into anger at the God of Mischief.
"In a way, even though there were serious conflicts within the Avengers, they'll be united now under the inspiration of Coulson's sacrifice. That's exactly what he wanted to accomplish."
1st Generation Spider-Man closed his eyes in silent tribute. The discord within the Avengers had been obvious to everyone, but now they had a concrete target for their righteous anger.
"Yeah! Even I want to beat Loki to death with my bare hands!" 1st Generation Harry clenched his fists tightly, then placed a comforting hand on Tobey Spider-Man's shoulder.
"It's tragic that we can't cross over to help them. All we can do is watch... isn't that frustrating?" 1st Generation Spider-Man shook his head in resignation. He understood all too well that there was an entire universe separating them, and he feared he would never encounter these real people in his lifetime.
"What a terrible loss!" the viewing Coulson said quietly, shaking his head as he processed his own death in another timeline.
His girlfriend was visibly shaken and immediately began calling him on his phone.
"Go ahead and answer that," the viewing Nick Fury said with understanding, turning away to give his agent privacy.
"Thank you, sir."
[In the now-empty command center, Tony and Captain America sat in their chairs in heavy silence, while Agent Hill stood quietly on the tactical platform below, observing them with obvious concern.]
[Director Nick Fury positioned himself across from them and produced a stack of vintage trading cards, some stained with blood. "These were in Agent Coulson's jacket pocket. He never did get your autograph," he said with quiet emotion.]
[He threw the bloodstained cards onto the table in front of Captain America.]
["We're operating blind now. Communications are compromised, we can't locate the Tesseract, and Banner and Thor are both gone. I've got nothing left to work with."]
[Captain America picked up the card with the most blood on it - his own vintage trading card from World War II - and stared at the patriotic imagery, his emotions clearly conflicted.]
["I lost my best agent today. Maybe I had it coming," Fury began pacing around the conference table, his usual composure cracking.]
["Yes, we were using the Tesseract to develop weapons. But I didn't put all my chips on that bet. I put them on something far riskier."]
["There was an idea, Stark knows all about it, called the Avengers Initiative."]
[When Tony realized he was being addressed directly, he looked up from his brooding contemplation. Fury moved behind Tony's chair and placed his hands on the back of it.]
["The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could."]
[Although Tony appeared outwardly calm, his constantly fidgeting fingers betrayed his inner turmoil. He knew that many of the team's problems could be traced back to his own actions and attitude.]
["Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea. In heroes."]
[The word "heroes" struck Tony like a physical blow. He stood up abruptly and left the room without a word.]
[Nick Fury watched him go in silence, then continued: "Well, it's an old-fashioned notion."]
"Tony Stark... he's been deeply affected by Coulson's death."
"Yeah! 'Heroes' - remember what Tony said when he first revealed his identity as Iron Man? He specifically said he wasn't the hero type. But now Coulson died believing Tony could be exactly that."
1st Generation Spider-Man and Dr. Otto reflected on the psychological impact.
1st Generation Dr. Connors pursed his lips thoughtfully: "It's just like Yinsen in that cave. He used his death to inspire Tony's transformation. This is probably another contributing factor to Tony's later anxiety disorders."
[Meanwhile, on the ground far below, Thor looked at Mjolnir lying in the crater beside him and clenched his fist in determination and rage.]
[At another impact site, an elderly voice called out: "Son, you fell out of the sky!" The words awakened Banner, who found himself lying naked in a pile of rubble and debris. As he sat up, he realized he was in what appeared to be an abandoned industrial complex. His fall had punched through several floors of reinforced concrete.]
[Banner held his head as the disorientation passed, then his first concern was for others: "Did I hurt anyone?"]
["There's nobody around here to get hurt. You did scare the hell out of some pigeons though."]
[Hearing this, Banner replied with genuine relief: "Lucky."]
[The elderly security guard observed him with a mixture of curiosity and sympathy: "Or just good aim. You were awake when you fell."]
[Banner was surprised: "You saw?"]
["The whole thing. Right through the ceiling. Big and green and buck naked. Here." The old man tossed Banner a set of work clothes.]
["I think these will fit you better than the Hulk."]
[Banner caught the clothes gratefully and immediately began putting on the pants: "Thank you."]
["Are you an alien?" the old man asked with genuine curiosity.]
["What?"]
[Seeing Banner's confusion, he clarified: "From outer space? An alien?"]
["No."]
["Well then, son, you've got a condition."]
"Hahaha! The Hulk certainly doesn't look human! You can't blame the old guy for thinking he might be an alien."
"This security guard is remarkably brave! Most people would have run away screaming after seeing the Hulk crash through their ceiling."
"And he even thought to bring Banner some clothes? That's really thoughtful."
"Banner's naked condition was... well, let's just say it's a good thing the camera angles were tasteful!"
"It's fortunate this looked like an abandoned industrial area with no workers around to get injured."
The old security guard's calm reaction was completely unexpected for most viewers.
Many people were puzzled by his unusual response to such an extraordinary situation, and some viewers even agreed with his alien theory - the Hulk certainly didn't look like any human they'd ever seen!
The real security guard watched himself on the screen with mild surprise. Like most people, he had never expected to appear in the sky screen broadcasts, let alone play a small but important role in helping Dr. Banner.
