*Lunia 1998 September 6, Before WW28*
?: "Princess Misuna! It's time."
Misuna: *she turns from her make-up and gets up from her water designed chair* "I'll be right there! Let my sister know!"
?: "Understood. Don't be late. Her words not mine."
*The stormian left*
*Lunia was under Lady Himari's command, Misuna's sister. One of them was a god and one was just an early adult, you'd guess who for sure. But this dance! There is more to it than the locals of Lunia would think.*
*Walking towards the stage, Misuna looked around seeing the empty huge room. This dance wasn't just an ordinary dance. It was the dance that revived many, gave hopes to the locals to fight, and kept many monsters away. It started back in 1637 under Victoria the 2nd's ruling that this dance was created under the name of The Hallowed Wave of Valor. Himari stood there awaiting her younger sister as she gently walked on top of the stage holding her hand.*
Himari: "You took some time."
*Blushing* Misuna: "Well i needed to look good for this. I even chose this dress made purely out of water. You know? The one that Victoria the 2nd passed among the years. Mother gave it to me before she passed away hoping it would fit me and that i could carry on."
Himari: "Usually the current goddess or ruler should do the dance wearing her dress. But since im mostly a warrior type of person and not one to dance. You're the complete opposite. Mother would be proud of you." *She wipes a tear from her eyes*
Misuna: "I know right? Sad she isn't here to see it. She won't see the one in action she wanted to see." *Sighs* "Let's begin."
Himari: *looking at her* "Are you sure? You ready?"
Misuna: "Yes. Just follow and copy what i do and you should execute it flawlessly with me."
*She agreed, took her hand once more and began taking one step at a time as the music played in the background. She executed multiple jumps flawlessly including the ending triple backflip into a pirouette that sent the water jet in the sky. As holy droplets poured in Lunia once more, everyone felt at ease hoping they would be protected from the upcoming war everyone knew would arrive at any moment. Let it be today, tomorrow, or even weeks later, one day The Titan will strike. Or maybe not him and someone else of him? An affiliate! After a while since the dance was over Himari stood there on the stage with Misuna making the final bow that made the nation's bells ring everywhere. This signaled the goddess's presence to serve and protect. This dance specifically is also practiced by mostly women of Lunia who will always dance for the princess and sometimes for the goddess.*
Misuna: "Hey! You did it!"
Himari: "I know... And i had to.. or else the effect would'nt work if we didn't do it together.. thank you... You're amazing at this Misuna..."
Misuna: "Well i always stood near mother as she practiced all 8365 dances created among the years. I memorized only 483 of them. But always this and forever will be the most important dance... For us. For the nation.. and to honor our past leaders for their time here."
*Himari agreed holding her sword made of water*
Himari: "Yes. I should learn this one day. To perform it myself... Will you keep teaching me?"
Misuna: "Anytime. Come on. Let's head to the ceremony!"
Himari: "What ceremony? The stormians didn't tell me anything about one..."
Misuna: "Oop! Did i say ceremony? Sorry! That was last month! Silly me! I meant the last party before the war starts. We gotta be near our people after all."
Himari: "But i need rest..-"
Misuna: "No way sister! As a goddess you should always attend these! Even I as the princess of Lunia have to. Come on!"
*She sighed knowing she was right and could'nt miss that.*
*At the party*
?: "To honor our current goddess! Himari Vescent! And for the Vescent Family!"
*Thousands of locals that attended chimed in unison shouting 'For Vescent Family!'. After the huge event lasting over 5 hours the two sisters went together back towards Luminstream Palace to rest.*
Himari: "Are you tired?"
*Misuna yawns but isn't insanely tired and pulls out her phone*
Himari: "When did you get a phone? I thought i restricted access to mobile devices in Lunia!"
Misuna: "Come on sister... Atleast the Vescent Family could have access to one... Your choice on that if you don't want it. But mother always allowed me. Just was never able to get me one... The one time i have it on me you say this..."
Himari: "Fine. But if the nation will hate you for it then don't come crying to me. I will not assist you."
Misuna: *a bit annoyed but nodded understandingly* "Yes sister.."
Himari: "Rest. Tomorrow is a very tough day. Hopefully it won't get interrupted by The Titan."
Misuna: "I hope so too.. tomorrow i must visit Aqua Garden.. and tend to the flowers mother has grown throughout the years..."
Himari: "Alright. Take off your make-up and rest. If something happens you're always open to contact me via the water connector to your window. Do you want me to leave it on closed area to well.. make me not hear anything?"
Misuna: "Yes.. i'll open the area if i need you."
*She nodded and slowly left her room wishing her goodnight before closing the door.*
*Next day*
*It was 8:38 AM and a lot of earthquakes hit the nation. Because they were being ambushed*
?: *busting her door open* "Princess! I'm very sorry for coming in so fast! We're being under attack and require your assistance! Your sister cannot come and tell you this herself. Please! We're gonna die!"
Misuna: *startled at first but regains composure and immediatelly puts her dress on and grabs her 2 rings* "I'll be there! Go ahead and defend!"
*The stormian left, and Misuna took flight releasing water particles behind her while descending near the palace's entrance noticing a couple wounded locals*
?: "Princess! We need help! They entered the nation!"
Misuna: "Who! Also give me your arm. I'll heal you all."
?: *extends hand* "I don't know! Probably the Titan has been sending monsters! And they look enhanced and with rage! Ahh!"
*A lot of corrupted bats were ready to kill but Misuna gave them a big shower.*
Misuna: "Never interrupt my healing! You ruthless flying shits!"
*The locals healing her are shocked to see Misuna swear for the first time in her life. She's mostly a kind and helpful person. But now? A different side*
Misuna: "Alright this should be it for all of you. By the divine princess words i cast upon thee aqua shield! Take cover and don't exit your homes!"
*She took off flying again towards the outside of Lunia where Himari was guiding the stormians to fight outside and keep the stronger enemies at bay*
Himari: "Fight with your life! Receive my blessing!"
*Misuna arrived noticing Himari in the crowd*
Misuna: "Himari!!"
*Turns* Himari: "Sister! You see the situation we're dealing with right!? It's happening!"
Misuna: "I know! I know! Let's just try to keep everything at bay and fight until the end! Did Funo talk with you! AH! BE BLAST!!!" *She ducks down and uses a water barrier to avoid fire and other elements*
Himari: "Yes. She's helping the others on the other side. Look out!" *She cut various rocks in pieces and desintegrated them after* "Come on! We can't waste time!"
*She took her hand and immediatelly flied outside. It seems the worst was approaching. There were various enemies such as the bats Misuna saw, multiple Blazatrons launching various elemental powered explosives and shooting railguns killing many soldiers and The Titan himself in a much smaller appearance going directly towards Himari*
Himari: *gasps but quickly dodges and their swords start clashing. She used various water based projectiles and even a strong jet that hit the titan but he didn't feel anything*
Madoro: "Is this the power of the current goddess of water! HAH! THE STRONGEST WATER GODS I FOUGHT WERE VICTORIA AND JAMIE VESCENT!"
Himari: "Don't you dare speak of our mother's name you filthy animal!"
*He flew far away from her and binded her in place. She struggled to move since his binds consisted of all the 15 elements of this world: Wind,Fire, Ice,Water, Sound,Necromancy considered cursed damage,earth,time,snow,space,gravity, psychic,blood,light and shadow. Misuna screamed her name as she flew to her trying to free her.*
Madoro: "Ahhahah. Misuna Vescent. Your attempts will be futile in saving your sister. I'm certainly sure she won't survive without a heart."
*She gasped suddenly upon hearing his words screaming and shouting her name trying to free her.*
Madoro: "I would suggest standing out of the way Misuna Vescent. You'll not like what you see." *He snapped his fingers and all the enemies left the field the stormians fought. And they turned to look above. Some shouted 'Lady Himari!' while others stood there in shock.*
?: "Let her go! She doesn't deserve the fate others would either!! YOU'RE WORTHLESS!"
Madoro: "Look Miss Himari~ you're having admirers! What if you join her!"
*He grabbed the man that spoke screaming in terror as he was bound near Himari*
Misuna: "LET THEM GO! DON'T DO THIS!"
?: "ATLEAST I'LL DIE WITH GLORY! I SERVED OVER 30 YEARS IN THE MILITARY! I WON'T DIE WITHOUT EVERYONE KNOWING WHO I WAS!"
Madoro: *spits in his face from 30m away* "All this sweet talk of yours! You brought this upon yourself for talking! Now do you know what i call this?"
Misuna: "What!? Let them go!"
Madoro: "I call it DIE!"
*He sent a insanely big sword towards all 3. Misuna tried stopping it with all her power but was pushed away before the sword hit both Himari and the soldier vaporizing the soldier and piercing Himari's heart out as she began choking*
Misuna: "HIMARII!!"
Madoro: *the sword came back to him in miniature, big enough to carry her heart to him.* "Heart of the blessed goddess of water huh? This looks like a human heart. Because for sure 80% of gods have human hearts after all. Useless as the other 79% Himari Vescent! I will takeover your nation even if you'd like it or not! I only came here to take the goddess's life! And bring despair upon Lunia! Next time you all shall face my wrath! And succumb to the ground!"
*He dissapeared as Himari's binds ripped. Her lifeless form falling to the ground with insane speed even Misuna could'nt fly as fast. 10 brave soldiers catched her as she fell almost breaking their arms from the speed Himari was falling with. But managed it and stepped away for Misuna to intervene*
Misuna: "SISTER!! WAKE UP! HIMARI!! HIMARIIII!!! CALL THE MEDIC! CALL MISS DEMANA! NOW!"
*They all began running as she cried and looked at the sky and shouted*
Misuna: "Regardless if you hear me or NOT! I WILL MAKE YOU PAY! THE WAY MY MOTHER AND VICTORIA DID! WORSE THAN THAT! YOU HEAR ME!?"
*She kneeled to her current lifeless body and hugged her while crying.*
*1 hour and 28 minutes later in Funo's clinic*
Funo: "Let's see what we- oh my goodness! Her heart was pierced!? And stolen! I gotta perform the insanity process... And i need your powers for this Princess!"
Misuna: *trembling still* "What d-do i have to do...?"
Funo: "Drink this. It will make you feel better. I need you to channel your water abilities into this contraption for 2 hours straight. This will fill it with enough power to make the new heart last until infinity."
Misuna: "But why do i need to use my powers! Wait! No! You're not telling me!"
Funo: "I'm sorry princess.. but i have to... It's the only way i can help your sister since her heart was stolen by the titan."
*She cried louder and hugged Funo as she began channeling her powers through the contraption Funo told her.*
Misuna: "Anything to see her alive AGAIN!"
*Funo left the current room to monitor the % for the process. Once it was 100% she could bring the new heart.*
*2 hours and 8 minutes later*
Funo: *Holding a heart that looks not normal* "Princess. I need you to hold your sister's body. I know you're afraid of blood but you'll have to do it for me."
*She nodded while sobbing and looked away while holding her body. Funo assembled the new heart inside. And the heart took the looks of water.*
Misuna: "THIS IS A WATER HEART!?" *She was mortified by the sight in front of her*
Funo: "I'm afraid it is. The only type of heart that will power Himari's after a full loss and no way to fix her old heart i have to create a heart pure of water and assemble it inside her."
Misuna: "Will she live!?"
Funo: "Yes. This water heart is designed for immortality under no damage. Even with damage the heart will self heal. But with enough damage done to it, it's going to vaporize and kill Himari once again. She will be forever weak to Fire and ice attacks. Also your water can also damage her. Sadly while monitoring it said the provider's element has a condition called cursed water. This will basically wound the person if she's healed by the provider. In this case, provider means you which fueled my contraption for these 2 hours. In short, your water is dangerous to Himari but others's water abilities will be able to help her."
Misuna: "WHY! MOTHER NEVER TOLD ME I WAS AFFECTED BY THIS AT BIRTH! WHY NOW!"
Funo: *trying to comfort her* "I know it sounds bad princess.. but you have to accept it. As the best medic it's the best i can do for your sister. Especially since this is very dangerous and can also wound me in the process. But i took the risk. And i ended up fine. Himari should wake up in like 40 minutes. I'll head out to help other wounded soldiers. If anything goes wrong call me. I know you have a phone. Don't worry about it. I won't tell anyone. I also have one. I'm.. required to have one."
Misuna: "Alright... Goodluck."
Funo: "Thank you."
*She left grabbing her gun and some first aids.*
*After 1 hour*
Himari: *waking up*
Misuna: *gasping lightly* "Sister!" *She hugged her slowly as she winced in pain intensely.* "Oh im sorry! Severely sorry!!"
Himari: "Huh...?" *She looks down at her to see her body still open with the water heart pumping blood + water inside her* "WHY AM I HAVING A BLOODY WATER HEART!? MISUNA! WHAT HAPPENED!"
Misuna: *crying sofly* "Miss Demana had to... Use my powers to create you a new heart... I channeled my water abilities for 2 hours at that thing over there.. which made you the heart you see now.."
Himari: "Then why does it hurt me when you touch me!"
*She explained to her what Funo told her about her cursed water sickness*
Himari: "And mother never told you!?"
Misuna: "It's either she didn't know! Or just simply hid it from me! My water abilities hurt you when i try to heal you! Only mine! Others can heal you just fine! It's me that's the problem!"
Himari: *wiping her tears* "Hey... You're not the problem okay? We will find a solution together through this okay? Don't be afraid at all alright?"
*She nodded*
Himari: "Good. But i must tell you something that won't make you happy."
Misuna: "W-what..?"
Himari: "You'll have to take my place as the new goddess of water and protect Lunia. I cannot keep this role anymore now that i am in this condition. It all matters to you now. I lived hundreds of years due to godhood itself. I age much faster than you think. You're just 20. You'll be my age insanely fast once i'll hand you the role for that. With my word. My blessing. Your powers will merge with mine. And you will become much stronger and you'll need to be very useful for our citizens. I'll still try to help you run the nation without issues. But you must learn how to fight. And stay strong okay?"
Misuna: "O-okay... I'm not sure if i can do this..."
Himari: "Not you. We. I'll be by your side the whole time sister. Don't worry. You'll now be considered both the princess of Lunia and the goddess of water. You didn't lose your previous title bestowed upon you by mother. I need some rest now. We will do the ceremony in 2 weeks. Until then. Rest. Help. And visit me."
Misuna: "I.. I will... Okay.. i'll go now. Have.. sweet dreams.. if Funo comes back tell her i left. Goodbye s-s-sister..."
*She was still sobbing and could'nt bear leaving her side. But she had to do it.*
