Both gods of death crashed HARD into Anubis's temple. Due to the tackle, Thanatos is now shooting through several walls, he continued an involuntary mode of demotion using his own body.
Finally as he slowed down, his head crashed into the receptionist booth, the impact made him perform a beautiful though unconscious 9060 flip directly into a cozy little salt bath barrel.
The man landed in such an artistic manner that he now resembled someone who had stayed too long indulging in a hot spring and casually passed out.
Anubis was a different story, the kick that sent him flying broke almost every bone in his body. If that were not enough, his broken body crashed through several thick spirals, bringing down several sections of his beloved temple.
His last desperate thought of help was the only thing that saved his life. That thought of his summoned his dragon and her catching him gently while tanking the damage from absorbing the impact from Anubis's beaten and broken body.
The two gods of death that were widely renowned and even to a certain extent feared due to the amount of power each possessed were now reduced to nearly broken punching bags was astonishing.
This scene was further emphasised by Diya practically wrapping her existence over to the monster and kissing him passionately.
The scene went from simply horrifying to sickeningly sweet within a second but two beings did not miss the subtle message her unintentional action showed.
What did it show? It was a showcase of power, not only did she claim the dangerous monster before them as her own and that casual slip of speed.
No matter how much Osiris wants to deny reality, that speed that the dangerous woman showcased could only be rivalled by a few, a good example are messenger gods whose sole attributes lay in speed like Hermes.
It was one shocking event after another for the king of the Duat. But like a good king, one thing he excelled at is adaptation, he let the two have their fun for a moment longer before speaking diplomatically as the two separated to gaze into each other's eyes.
"I am Osiris, King of these lands known to all as The Duat. Why have you come here and why did you fight Anubis and Thanatos?"
Osiris spoke confidently, the final part though asked as a question was truely no question. As king of these lands he had the authority to demand basic answers.
Normally, when confronted by a strong being, one would be defensive and refuse to answer. Patience is key in these types of situations as one would normally play their hand after the opponent makes a mistake and a greater manoeuvre can be made.
In the many years of experience Osiris had in negotiation, he felt that although faint, something did feel off about the man before him.
Before Osiris could further analyse the man, he saw something that he would not forget for the rest of his long existence.
Indifference. The man and woman completely ignored him and simply went back to their war of tongues.
Each kiss the two made had Osiris slowly losing his patience. Seeing that the two were clearly ignoring him, he spoke to the goddess standing behind him, observing the scene below with greed, jealousy and curiosity.
"Who are you people, and why did he fight two gods of death?" Osiris asked as he grabbed the shoulder of Aphrodite, making her finally pay attention to him.
