"You have done well," he rumbled, his voice deep enough to shake the very foundation of the chamber.
A slow, delighted shiver ran down Evelyn's spine. She had succeeded where so many before her had failed.
She had defied history itself. And soon, she would have everything.
"The world has forgotten you, but I have not." She murmured, stepping closer.
"And what do you seek in return for your loyalty?" The Darkborn Alpha studied her, his golden eyes narrowing.
Evelyn smiled. Power. Control. Legacy. But most of all? Lucia's destruction.
"Only what is rightfully mine." She breath out, her voice was dripping with satisfaction.
"Then let us take it." The Darkborn Alpha turned his head.
Evelyn's heart soared. The war had just started.
