She took a total of forty-five steps.
As Tu Jin stepped out the forty-sixth step ahead, he seemed to have quietly submerged into water. A few ripples lingered in the air, but his figure completely vanished!
Indeed, there was something unusual ahead, but she believed that this anomaly wasn't caused by Tu Jin.
Was it an Array?
She held her breath and took the forty-sixth step. She immediately felt a cool sensation all over, as if she had walked through a thin curtain of water on a summer day. Yet when she looked down, there wasn't a single trace of water on her body.
When she looked up again, the scenery before her had changed.
She was standing at the foot of a steep mountain, with a narrow path leading straight to the mountain top from her position. This was perhaps the highest point of the secret realm, because looking up from here, even the moon seemed larger.
"This is?" she asked, pointing toward the path she came, unsure.
Tu Jin nodded: "Barrier."
