Feng Bailing shivered and put down the tea in her hands. Could she still go out and throw it up in time?
"Empress Dowager, Xiao Li and Xiaojin are still young. We do not plan to have children for the time being."
Feng Bailing pursed her lips.
Dugu Wu frowned.
The Empress Dowager waved her hand.
"I'm old, and I don't know if I can wait until your children are born. It's been a long time since there was a joyous occasion in the Imperial Palace."
The Empress Dowager looked terribly sad, her eyes filled with sorrow.
Feng Bailing couldn't bear to upset the old lady, so she simply excused herself saying that there were still matters to handle at home, hurriedly spoke a few words, and then left the Empress Dowager with Dugu Wu.
"Do you think the Empress Dowager really doesn't know about the Empress and Eldest Prince?"
"The Empress Dowager has lived most of her life, possessing the wisdom to survive. Some things are better unknown than known."
Dugu Wu said gravely.
