With exams looming, the students were all busy preparing, and the faculty was obviously busy as well.
When Su Ge entered, Cheng Jinxi, clad in black, was busily tapping away on his computer.
His severe countenance created an aura of indomitable aloofness and detachment.
It took Su Ge almost a full second to approach him, and as she did, Cheng Jinxi immediately stopped what he was doing.
Lifting his gaze, his obsidian-like eyes gently locked onto Su Ge.
"Sorry to interrupt, Professor."
Su Ge took a deep breath and got straight to the point, "Professor, Mr. Huo's illness is now in the recovery stage. May I ask if there is still room for negotiation regarding the Huo Family's compensation?"
Cheng Jinxi obviously froze.
