Chloe Simpson's entire body was weak from the blood continuously seeping from the wound on her neck, and she was already in a daze.
Her body had no strength left at all, and even though she wanted desperately to fight back, she couldn't manage it.

Seeing the man make a move against Chloe in such a frenzy, Alexander Johnson roared at Tyler Howard and dashed towards Chloe in one swift motion.
But before he knew it, the knife in the man's hand was already coming down, and Alexander was too late.
