Ivy River glanced at Edwin Blake and said leisurely, "If you don't want anyone to know, don't do it yourself. If you didn't do those dirty things, no one would find out."

Brother Tim hurriedly shouted, "There's nothing at all, Ivy River, don't say it!"
Ivy River, unhurried and calm, said, "The things you and Isla Sutton did, doesn't Edwin Blake have a right to know?"
"Earlier, you were on the phone with Isla Sutton, and I accidentally overheard everything. Want another chance? I'll give you one, but who knows if you can handle it."
