The Beast King at the bottom of the Fan Di Sea is a humpback whale that has reached over a thousand years old and is the only humpback whale in this sea area.
As a whale, it also needs to surface intermittently to breathe fresh air.
However, due to its extreme laziness, it surfaces less frequently than the average humpback whale, about once every half month; the rest of the time, it resides at the seabed, motionless. When hungry, it simply opens its mouth, inhaling and exhaling expansively.
With a wide mouth and strong suction power, a single inhale can engulf all the fish passing within three miles, feasting in one gulp; for most of the remaining time, it lays still like a rock.
Today, it continues to "petrify," not moving at all.
At this moment, a group of brightly colored Lightning Flying Fish swims past before its eyes, with a few bold ones even bumping against its thick, closed eyelids.
