Meng Wanning woke up in Chen Cheng's arms, and as she looked at his still sleeping face, a blissful smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.
Carefully, she withdrew her arm from his embrace and got out of bed quietly. After finishing her morning routine, she picked up Chen Cheng's clothes and returned to the bedside.
"Sir, wake up, it's time to get up."
Chen Cheng groggily opened his eyes and, seeing Meng Wanning's gentle smiling face, felt his sleepiness fade away.
"What time is it?"
"It's already eight o'clock." Meng Wanning softly said while tidying up his slightly disheveled hair, "Aren't you going to the signing ceremony today?"
Chen Cheng sat up and rubbed his eyes, "Did you sleep well last night?"
"Yes, very well." Meng Wanning replied, "I haven't slept this soundly in a long time."
She placed the clothes by the bed, "I'll get your toothpaste, wash water, and razor ready. You can come to the bathroom in a bit."
"Okay."
