A week passed in the blink of an eye, and Wen Shulin was recovering well.
Today is the day to be discharged from the hospital, and Wen Shulin is in the bathroom, drawing her eyebrows in front of the mirror.
The surgical wound doesn't hurt as much, but her face is still somewhat pale. She uses foundation to cover the faint marks, then applies a layer of light blush to make herself look more spirited.

"Why did you suddenly think of putting on makeup? I didn't see you caring about this usually."
Wen Shulin purses her lipstick in front of the mirror, turns her head to smile at Chen Cheng, "Today's discharge day, after all; I must greet new life in the best state."
She pauses, "I also want you to see me at my best, not just remember the frail me when I was ill."
Chen Cheng walks over, "In my eyes, every version of you is beautiful. But seeing you regain your spirit, I'm very happy too."
