Ordering some filet, sirloin, and rib eye, along with a bottle of 2004 Petrus, the overdue New Year's dinner for Chen Cheng, Xia Yubing, and Tong Jialu finally began.
"Come on, let's have a drink first." Chen Cheng raised his glass.
Xia Yubing held her water, while Tong Jialu raised her wine, clinking glasses with Chen Cheng.
"Thank you, Brother-in-law, wishing you smooth sailing in the new year~" Tong Jialu said playfully.
Chen Cheng chuckled, "You've grown fond of calling me that, haven't you?"
Tong Jialu took a sip of wine, "Of course, calling you Brother-in-law makes us family~"
Xia Yubing also laughed happily. She said to Chen Cheng, "Honey, wishing you all the best."
"Thank you."
Chen Cheng accepted both their blessings. He said, "You've been working hard taking care of Yubing. Now that she's pregnant, many things are inconvenient. If anything comes up, let me know right away."
