Upon arriving at the villa, Chen Cheng and Mei Xiang saw Cui Xiaoling standing in the front hall.
"Aunt Cui," Chen Cheng greeted.
Cui Xiaoling's steps were a bit slow. She first looked at Mei Xiang and then her gaze fell on Chen Cheng's arm, expressing concern, "Is your injury healed?"
Chen Cheng raised his hand, "It's nothing, it was never serious."
Only then did Cui Xiaoling nod, "I'll have the kitchen prepare some extra dishes, stay for dinner tonight."
She paused and looked at Mei Xiang again, "Miss Xingye, you should join us too."
It seemed that Meng Wanning had told her master everything, and upon hearing the invitation, Mei Xiang bowed in thanks.
"Alright, I'll go see Mr. Jin first."
"He's in the backyard."
After the three bid farewell, Chen Cheng led Mei Xiang to the backyard.
