Chen Cheng breathed a sigh of relief, "Shall we continue ordering?"
"Sure!"
Xia Yubing had many things she wanted to say to Chen Cheng alone, so she said, "Honey, may I use the restroom?"
Chen Cheng nodded, "I'll take you there."
"Xiao Lu, help me continue ordering."
"Of course, sis."
The two left the western chamber. Xia Yubing, holding Chen Cheng's hand, walked through the valuable courtyard, "Honey, thank you."
"For what?" Chen Cheng smiled.
"Thank you for defending me in front of them. I know some of the things you said weren't true, but I'm clear in my heart that you wanted to give me enough face, to help me stand tall amidst these complex relationships."
Xia Yubing looked up at Chen Cheng with eyes full of tenderness and gratitude, "I was totally disoriented just now. If you hadn't taken control of the situation, I really wouldn't have known what to do."
Chen Cheng stopped walking, "There's nothing to thank me for."
