The five companions traveled together under the stars and moon, feeling constantly anxious and fearful. When they arrived at the county town near their hometown, they initially hoped to pass through as they had done before with travel documents, only to find that the neighboring county was unusually strict in its inspections, with troops dispatched, frightening them into hiding in the nearby mountains, where they discovered this mountain path.
They feared the government office as well as the possibility of spirit monsters lurking in the mountains. But the five had no other choice but to risk traveling the mountain path, hoping to bypass the area. However, it rained halfway through, and during their arduous search for shelter, they discovered this broken temple and quickly took refuge inside. Originally, everyone was somewhat afraid, but upon arrival, a young master and his slave had already started a fire here, boosting their courage.
