"Something's wrong!" Lu Zhao and Xie Guan heard gunshots, and immediately their bodies shook, rushing out of the bar.
Hu Lushou watched their backs, sighed helplessly.
"You'll know the reason soon enough..."
The gunshots sounded abrupt and piercing in the pre-dawn Akse City. The few teams parked in the city had their nerves strained by the noise. Lu Zhao sprinted out from the bar with his men, and before he could ask, his communicator buzzed with his teammate's voice.
"Boss Lu, damn it, Wu Dapeng's team is firing at us!"
"What?!"
Lu Zhao's expression changed, as he pressed the communicator: "Wu Dapeng, what the hell are you doing?!"
But no matter how loudly he shouted, there was never any response on that communication frequency.
"This is bad!" Behind him, Xie Guan was pressing his earpiece, looking shocked: "Our people outside of the northern city saw a massive convoy rushing in, and by the look of their paint, they're sand bandits!"
"Boss, boss!"
