Four heads, three big and one small, squeezed in front of the gate simultaneously, peeking out at what was on the other side. Three faces looked bewildered, speechless.
Even Luna's face seemed a bit confused.
Outside the door was a stretch of unfamiliar alien land, covered by a gray and heavy atmosphere in the sky. In the distance was a towering and perilous mountain chain, with the gray-black stones seemingly covered by thick snow, though the "snow" was emitting an eerie dark blue hue. From time to time, deep booming sounds echoed from the valleys between the mountains, with hot springs erupting from below cliffs, mixing the steam columns with acrid poisonous smoke.
