Ronan blinked. As he bypassed a cluster of flowers in front of him, he discovered a shimmering small lake hidden beyond the orderly fruit trees.
The lake surface was filled with yellow and purple aquatic irises, along with orange-red cattails, and a group of yellow-green wild ducks floated leisurely in the lake.
"It's an empire tradition, specifically for situations like the current unresolved throne succession."
Selena explained.
Ronan paused by the lake, watching as the water mirrored his long-robed and tall reflection. He softly asked, "In what form does the Holy Grail Proof take place?"
"Combat."
