The experience of being backstabbed by a Wizard from the "Elemental Magic Ring" made Ronan internally filled with vigilance and resistance towards things like soul contracts.
But to join any Wizard Force and gain its heritage and resources, signing a non-betrayal contract is the most basic condition; no force would bypass this step.
So Ronan sought a solution from Alazan. As it turned out, Alazan, who had lived for countless years as a "living fossil" in the Wizard World, was a giant treasure of knowledge on his own. By pressing him a bit, one could always dig out good things.
The "Soul Simulation Technique" is not a particularly strong or complex secret technique but is quite practical, capable of simulating the soul aura into any form you desire.
Ronan used Alazan's soul power to simulate his soul aura, even Level 5 Wizard Heliodor couldn't detect any hints.
Though two contracts were signed, the actual signatory was Alazan, completely unrelated to Ronan.
