Jason's expression was flat, he said, "Our whole family was wiped out, even the souls were taken away. The only surviving nephew was hidden in a cat, but due to my negligence, he was dismembered..."
Ronan was taken aback and spoke somewhat apologetically, "Sorry."
"It's nothing, it was a long time ago, and that cat is about to die of old age anyway."
Jason shook his head, then skillfully waved towards the bar, "Two 'Creditors', please."
Ronan glanced around the small tavern. It was styled entirely in red oak, with various styled wizard hats hanging on the wall behind the bar. In the dimly lit corner to the west, two men in grey robes were whispering to each other, as if conducting some unspeakable transaction.
Wizards could be seen everywhere in the tavern, from Level 1, Level 2, and even Level 3, most of them looking somewhat weathered.
"This is Baishong Town."
