Weiwei and her father were still in the corner of the corridor.
The death of the little brother, for some reason, seemed to make Weiwei's father even more saddened than the child's biological parents.
He stood there, lost and absent-minded, his eyes hollow as if his soul had been lost, staring motionlessly in the direction of the ward, even his fingertips were trembling slightly.
Weiwei quietly stood next to him, her small figure accompanying her father.
"Weiwei, we're going back now, do you want to come with us?" Duoduo walked to her side and asked softly.
Without thinking, Weiwei shook her head, "I want to stay with my dad."
"We can take you to see Potato!"
Dou Dou immediately leaned over, with a mysterious expression said, "By then you'll be like us, letting your parents see you and even talk to them."
"Really?"
Weiwei's eyes instantly lit up, her face full of disbelief and joy, her small hand unconsciously clutching the hem of her clothes.
"Of course it's true."
