However, despite this, the home is kept very clean.
Although the cement ground at the entrance has many cracks, it is swept spotless, and there is even a trash can placed at the doorway, which is rare in the countryside.
When Zhang Juxiang led the group inside, one could further sense her virtuous housekeeping.
Everything was neatly arranged.
The bottles and jars on the dining table, the chairs and benches in the corners, and even some New Year pictures posted on the walls.
Though the items were old and the house poor, it still felt bright and clean.
"Sorry, there isn't much at home to entertain you all. Please have a seat, I'll go prepare lunch."
Zhang Juxiang poured hot water for everyone, they didn't even have tea leaves at home, and there weren't enough cups; two were substituted with bowls.
