"Li, what happened? Why do you look so angry?" Gu Xin hadn't waited long outside before Ghost quickly walked out, grabbed her hand without a word, and led her away.
"It's nothing, don't ask." Ghost said coldly. They soon left the mall, and Gu Xin shook off his arm, rubbing her wrist with a pained expression.
"That hurts!"
"I'm... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." Ghost snapped back to reality and apologized at once.
"Li, what happened? Did you have an argument with your friends?" Gu Xin's first thought was that these people might be Ghost's creditors. After all, the world is harsh; debts remain even if one loses memory. If they finally found Ghost, they wouldn't let it go easily, and Ghost looked furious, which matched her guess.
"Do you owe them money?" Gu Xin asked cautiously.
"What are you talking about? How could I owe money?" Ghost quickly rebuffed. "They're a bunch of lunatics."
