Simply put, the collision of Innate True Qi was like the explosion of a fragmentation grenade, wreaking terrifying lethal force upon everything in the vicinity.
And this lethal force was indeed effective against the fighting Innate Martial Artists, hence, during battle, both had to ensure their own defense first, that is, by covering their bodies with a layer of True Qi armor.
