The searchlight of the Black Hawk Helicopter swept over the motel's balcony and roof, leaving members of Tad who were hiding in the corners completely exposed. Jimmy and the officers immediately fired upon them, while many guests trembled in fear, hiding in the corners of their rooms.
Rifles and projectiles created a symphony of gunfire at the motel, and the clash was over within minutes from the start of the exchange of fire.
Jimmy asked over the police frequency if Boketu had spotted any more surviving criminals. Observing from a higher vantage point, Boketu immediately responded, "No more criminals spotted, but they're definitely hiding in the rooms, maybe even trying to take hostages."
