Allen Zhang turned around, fetched a towel from the car, soaked it with water, wrapped it around various parts of his body, put on several masks and eye covers, and after getting ready, he asked Dominic and Jennifer to wait outside before he felt reassured to approach the warehouse's entrance.

Even if the energy field inside had weak radiation, it could still be isolated by the wet towel; although it was not very useful, it was just a precaution. If there really was such strong nuclear radiation present, Harvard would have mutated long ago!
Seeing him being so cautious, Harvard couldn't help but mock, "I've already used barium sulfate concrete, lead plates, and graphene materials for radiation isolation. You're just overdoing it."
