Chu Ge pushed the door open, it was half ajar, not locked.
He was momentarily stunned, he was the last one to leave and remembered clearly locking the door. Yet now it was unlocked, and there seemed to be a faint fragrance in the air, more pleasant than a few days ago.
Chu Ge glanced at the living room in puzzlement but didn't see anyone there. Suddenly, there was a thud from upstairs.
He frowned and looked upstairs, then quickly headed up.
The room at the deepest end of the corridor had always been unoccupied. Previously, Chu Ge was curious because some of them were crammed into one room, yet that room was always vacant and without residents.
Curious, Chu Ge walked over. The room door was half open, and a silhouette inside swayed back and forth. A slender waist, flowing long hair, it was a woman.
