"Stop!" Lin Dong holds the phone thirty centimeters away from himself, blabbering like a woman. "Where's the person?"
"I told him to report tomorrow."
"Where's he staying?"
"Seems like it's in Runquan."
Runquan? Lin Dong lightly runs his index finger over his nose, glances at his watch, and after a silent three seconds, "Tonight, nine o'clock, at my detective agency, I want to see him on time."
"What? Half an hour? You're crazy, it takes at least fifty minutes from Runquan to your place, plus it's late at night, I've already given him leave."
"If it were you, you obviously couldn't do it, but if he can't either, then don't waste efforts and energy on him."
Without giving the other party any chance to plead, Lin Dong hangs up with a bang, floors the gas pedal, and shoots off like an arrow.
On the way back, Lin Dong receives another call, switches lanes at the intersection and drives to the opposite direction of the detective agency.
