What is a lineage family?
It is a clan with familial blood ties that requires several generations, or even a dozen generations, of effort to build. At minimum, a lineage family needs the cultivation of more than three generations to be considered such, thus gaining its depth.
Why should a wealthy family only be called a wealthy family and not a lineage family? The vast gap lies in their lack of depth.
Therefore, a wealthy family in front of a lineage family can only be considered a vassal. Sometimes, whether a lineage family wants you as a vassal depends on whether they find you pleasing or if they are in a good mood.
