There is not much information about what happened there. The only thing that is certain is that the capital was burned down in one night and that the royal family was tortured by a person or a being.

Demons a more of the physical torture and not the magical kind. Any evidence on a race that torture people like that outside of humans. Not that i don't think a human did this, because this really was the doing of another human.

Princess, sorry but obsidian ranks are able to burn a city down in maybe 4hours, but not a capital of 26 thousand people in just under 30 minutes.

Yes, so the capital Regenia of the Genera Kingdom is totally been wiped of the map and no one know who or what even did it. The only thing that is find out is that it was burned down by fire and explosive magic. Even the royal family was tortured and people think that it was done by a human or a demon. But no one know why another person would do that.
Could it maybe be a grudge from some time ago or from something the very reasoned last days or weeks

There is not really anymore that i know about it than what i just said. All the important details, are only for the most highly ranked people of this land and not for someone like me that is.

They ask for someone that would have enough knowledge about magic and fighting styles. And my feelings tells me that you are a capable candidate for that job. Would you be willing to take that job?
