The city lights twinkled in the distance as the group strolled away from Norman Osborn, who was now thoroughly webbed to a concrete wall, unconscious and looking more defeated than ever. His once-pristine Goblin armor was charred, cracked, and barely holding together, while his mask hung loosely from his face, revealing his bloodied and bruised features.
MJ stretched dramatically, her body aching from the chaos of the night. "Well, that was fun. Kinda anticlimactic, though. Like, no offense to your supervillain, Gwen, but I expected more effort from him."
Talia snickered. "Dude got folded in less than ten minutes. Absolute embarrassment."
Natasha smirked. "Men don't usually last that long against us."
Gwen, still catching her breath, shook her head. "I swear to God, can we not sexualize beating the shit out of my worst enemy?"
Wanda, smirking, linked her arm through Gwen's. "No promises."
MJ, grinning, poked Gwen's side. "Come on, Spider-Woman, admit it. It's kinda hot watching your girlfriend wipe the floor with your nemesis."
Gwen immediately turned bright red. "She's not my girlfriend!"
Wanda hummed. "Yet."
MJ cackled. "Oh my God, Gwen, you are so down bad."
"Can we please leave?" Gwen groaned, dragging a hand down her face as she started walking again.
None of the women present expected the delusional Goblin lover old man to stand back up and ask for a beating, but he just had to speak up again, almost begging to be bullied.
"You think you can just walk away from me?"
The group froze at the sound of his voice.
Gwen's heart dropped.
MJ turned around and groaned. "Oh, for fuck's sake. This dude is like herpes. Won't go away."
Talia sighed dramatically. "God, can't we just let men stay defeated? They always have to get back up and embarrass themselves further."
Norman let out a guttural growl, stepping forward, his suit barely holding together but his rage carrying him. "I am going to tear you apart."
Gwen felt her symbiote pulse in response to her rising adrenaline. Her hands flexed, tendrils curling from her arms, prepared to strike.
Wanda's eyes glowed crimson, her Chitauri Scepter crackling with power.
Natasha and Talia took defensive stances, weapons drawn, ready to end this.
MJ crossed her arms. "Oh, this is gonna be so embarrassing for you, dude."
Norman didn't wait. He lunged.
Gwen barely dodged in time, flipping backward as Norman's razor-sharp claws swiped through the air where she had just stood. He moved faster than before, his strength enhanced by the desperation of a man who had lost everything.
Wanda met him mid-air, staff crackling, and blasted him with a wave of red energy. The force sent him flying, slamming into a construction beam with a sickening crack.
But he got back up.
Talia raised an eyebrow. "Persistent little cockroach, isn't he?"
Norman snarled. "You insufferable girls. You mock me, humiliate me, blow me up, but you don't understand. I am above you."
MJ tilted her head. "You were literally just on the ground."
Natasha lunged first, moving like a blur, her stun batons sparking with electricity. She struck hard and fast, hitting Norman's ribs before spinning to kick him square in the jaw. He staggered, but caught himself, grabbing her by the throat and hurling her into a wall.
But not before smoke began to rise from his singed hair complements of Natasha's electric boogaloo batons.
Gwen was on him next, her favorite tazer of truth delivering 95,000 voltes of pure love and tenderness as she struck his chest, sending a pulse of energy through his armor. The metal short-circuited, but Norman adapted, grabbing her by the wrist and twisting it, forcing her to drop her favorite tazer but not before Fracture retrieved of for Gwen using symbiote tentacles.
Talia dove in, using her symbiote-enhanced speed to twist mid-air, slamming a tendril-wrapped fist straight into his face.
Norman spit out blood and laughed as everyone was able to see his bones like an x-ray from Gwen's tazer then he said.
"You can't stop me," he rasped. "None of you can."
Wanda, standing behind him, rolled her shoulders, saying, "Going Long." She grabbed his skull with both hands, chaos magic surging, and threw him across the street.
Bam!!
MJ whooped. "Now that's what I call yeeting a billionaire!"
Gwen landed beside Wanda, exhaling. "We need to finish this."
Norman was already getting back up.
His glider, damaged but still functional, came roaring toward him. He jumped onto it, teeth bared in a wild grin. "I've played nice," he hissed. "No more."
He pulled one last pumpkin bomb.
This one glowed with a sickly green light, different from the others.
Wanda's eyes narrowed. "That's not normal."
Gwen's instincts screamed. "MOVE!"
Norman threw it.
The explosion was massive. The shockwave tore through the street, sending cars flying, windows shattering for blocks. Gwen barely managed to shield MJ, her symbiote wrapping around them to absorb the blast.
When the dust settled, Norman hovered above them on his glider, grinning like a devil.
"You thought this was over?" he hissed. "It's only just begun."
Gwen's rage boiled over.
She ripped off her mask, symbiote tendrils writhing around her body like a living entity.
"You want a real fight?" Her eyes glowed white, the power of her symbiote fully unleashed. "Then come and get it."
Wanda, standing beside her, smirked. "We're about to ruin this man's whole career."
MJ grinned. "Oh my god, this is going to be so hot."
Talia cracked her knuckles. "Let's kill a Goblin."
Norman screeched, his glider diving straight toward them at full speed.
And the final battle began.
