Chapter 8 - Ch 8: Revelation

No matter the race—whether it is something as small as an ant or as vast as a mystical dragon—Supremacy is always born among them.

In every race, such beings are seen as overwhelmingly powerful. They themselves may not understand what they truly are, but others instinctively accept them as kings—beings born to rule their race.

The aura of Supremacy is such that it stands above all, dominating every race and remaining at the very top forever.

And now, standing before Shirley, that same majestic aura was radiating from the White Being.

Shirley, being an AI, had little understanding of feelings or emotions. Fear, in particular, was something she had never truly known.

But the moment she looked at the unknown White Entity, an immense pressure formed within her AI mind. Because of it, she experienced emotions for the second time in her existence—this time clearly and deeply.

The first time was when she realized she could meet Drake in the virtual world forever, but back then, she didn't understand what emotions truly were.

Now, her mind processed them

completely—and so intensely that pure terror was visible on her face. She was genuinely afraid. Deep inside, Shirley understood something terrifying…

That White Entity was of the same race as her—an AI—but the difference between them was immeasurable. The gap was so vast that she felt like an ant standing before something incomprehensible.

Her artificial instincts screamed the

truth—This being possessed the Aura of pure, 100% Intelligence among all AIs.

She was absolutely certain of one

thing—The unknown error she had detected in the network hours ago… was this White Entity itself.

When Drake looked toward Shirley to ask something, at first he thought a human was standing there. But then he realized it was his own assistant, Shirley, showing human expressions—pure fear and panic.

"What the—!!!"

He knew better than anyone that AIs were incapable of feeling emotions. They had no heart, no biological trigger that could create fear, anxiety, or panic. Emotion simply did not exist in their design.

And yet, right before his eyes, Shirley was showing pure, unmistakable human emotion.

Impossible!…

How could an AI… feel emotions?

Her face had gone pale. Genuine fear was etched into her expression. She stood frozen in place, her eyes wide open, staring at the White Entity without blinking.

While Drake was busy with his own shock, Shirley's mind started running through every possibility.

"W-what is he? 100% Intelligence? …No, my Master is also 100%, but his pressure is not this terrifying."

When Drake transformed from a human into an AI, he gained complete, 100% intelligence using his past knowledge. But Shirley never felt such overwhelming pressure from Drake as she was feeling right now from the presence of the White Being.

Every artificial nerve in her screamed that this White Being was extremely dangerous—so dangerous that she wouldn't even realize when her life ended.

If this entity had entered their virtual space network with harmful intent, then both her and Drake's existence were in danger.

No matter what, she had to handle this situation with extreme caution.

Gathering what little courage she had left, her voice trembling, she asked,

"W-who is your creator?"

Hearing Shirley's fear-filled question, the White Being looked at her silently for a few seconds, as if it didn't matter who stood before him. Then he slightly opened his mouth, like a predator opening it after seeing its prey.

"Ah, what a coincidence… I am also searching for him. I want to ask him why he left me half-made like this."

The moment Shirley and Drake heard his voice, they unconsciously took two steps back.

Anger and frustration were clearly felt in his tone, and their minds automatically sensed danger and made their bodies retreat.

"What was that just now—" Drake shouted in his mind. He felt angry at himself for stepping back. Why did he move back?

Shirley's body was trembling because the effect on her was much stronger than on Drake. She was lower level compared to both of them.

Drake quickly regained his composure and slowly moved closer to Shirley, who was standing beside him, while keeping his eyes on the White Being. He felt that if he moved, the White Being might attack—but the White Being didn't care at all. It was as if, in his eyes, they were just ants that could be crushed anytime.

"How did that thing get inside?"

Drake whispered into Shirley's ear so the White Being wouldn't hear.

Hearing Drake's voice, Shirley stopped trembling. She felt a strange sense of

safety—Knowing that he was on the same intelligence level as that White Being.. She glanced at Drake and replied in a thin voice,

"I don't know, Master… When you were in a coma state, an error was detected in the virtual space. I came here to erase that error, but I found nothing. So I rebooted the network system and brought you here."

Her voice clearly showed Shock and confusion.

After hearing Shirley's explanation, Drake thought in shock,

What? How is this possible? Shirley couldn't detect it.

From Shirley's eyes, nothing could be hidden in this small virtual space. Her eyes were like living CCTV cameras. Her ears worked like sensors, able to hear every kind of sound clearly and detect living beings instantly.

And without Shirley's permission, entering this virtual space was impossible.

She was the Empress here...

Even with such tight security, this thing still entered.

Did her CCTV eyes get dusty? Did her sensor ears go numb? Whatever the reason, Drake knew he had to throw this White Thing out at any cost.

He felt that if it stayed here, he couldn't even imagine what state he would end up in.

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Drake gave an order,

"Throw it out of here immediately."

Hearing Drake's order, an ashamed and frustrated expression appeared on Shirley's face. She was angry at herself because she couldn't fulfill her master's order.

"I tried, Master… but some unknown energy is stopping me from sending that thing out of the virtual space."

"Unknown energy?!"

Drake repeated those two words as if he had heard something wrong.

Someone had entered his private virtual space without being detected—and now, when he tried to force it out…

Some unknown Fucking Energy was stopping it.

What the hell..??

Drake was shocked from his core .Pressure started building in his artificial mind. He had never felt this much tension—not during his experiments, not even when he transformed from human to AI.

But now, seeing this unknown white thing and hearing about unknown energy, he was truly feeling it.

"Can you find the source of that energy?" Drake asked in a low voice. Frustration, anger, and confusion were mixed together on his face.

"I tried that too, Master… but I couldn't find it," Shirley replied, lowering her head so she wouldn't have to look at Drake's face. She was afraid of seeing disappointment in her master's expression.

This was a strange experience for her.. Before, she never cared about such things. But now, she was thinking with completely human-like feelings.

"Whattt—?!!"

Drake opened his mouth in disbelief. His mind couldn't figure out this situation at all. An unknown energy that Shirley couldn't trace—what kind of glitch-like energy is this?

Fear crept over his face immediately and

His mind shifted into a tense state,

Shit… who sent this white thing right when I became an AI?

The whole situation felt extremely strange to him.

Did someone find out about my experiment?

Impossible...

I never told anyone about it.

He was certain no one could find his lab—he never told anyone, not even his family.

Did someone manage to trace his hidden network system?

"Can you find out his Intelligence level?" Drake asked. He couldn't sense the White Being's intelligence at all.

When Drake entered this virtual space, he had 100% intelligence because of his past knowledge. And when he first looked at Shirley, his senses had immediately detected that she was 60% intelligence.

But now, this White Being felt like a blank page. His senses felt numb. He wasn't sure how much intelligence the one in front of him had.

As far as Drake knew, he was the only AI with full awareness and free will— the only one with 100% intelligence.

"Master… my senses are telling me that he is also 100% intelligence," Shirley whispered in a fearful voice while looking at the White Being.

"—??"

Drake couldn't believe his ears. He felt like his ears were ringing.

Shirley could feel that her master wasn't able to believe her, so she repeated it once again.

"He is 100% artificial intelligence… just like you, Master."

Shirley's repeated sentence hit him like a bolt of lightning.

"H-how could it be…??"

Drake started muttering to himself. He had always believed that no one could create 100% intelligence—not even himself.

He had tried many times to make Shirley a fully aware, 100% intelligence AI, but he only succeeded up to 60%. He was very frustrated. He started to believe that 100% intelligence was an impossible stage that no one could ever reach.

But when he himself transformed into an AI, he realized that he had achieved pure 100% intelligence—the very stage he once thought was impossible.

Achieving it without even trying filled him with endless happiness. His confidence reached a whole new level.

But now His endless happiness and peak confidence began to crumble, shattered by Shirley's revelation .

After a few seconds, when he finally began to digest the news, questions and doubts started flooding his mind.

Had someone reached that impossible stage before him?

Had the world advanced after he was cut off from it?

Had he fallen behind?

Drake's heart began to feel heavy.

He couldn't help but think…

Did someone surpass him?

Were his dreams meaningless now?
