Chapter 118 - 118: New destination: Earth Kingdom!

"Are we really going to the Earth Kingdom openly? With the lame excuse of getting to know our neighbor better?" Ty Lee complained. She was lying on the edge of the boat, watching the giant blocks of ice she had always seen at the North Pole fall behind them.

"If we don't act stealthily, our enemies simply won't take us seriously. But if they see us traveling across the kingdom in a caravan, they'll feel some psychological pressure," replied Mai, who was sitting next to Ty Lee and twirling a dagger.

"Besides, Shisui is really upset with those guys. Look, he even asked the Avatar to come with us. He promised the Avatar that Zuko and I would teach him fire and earthbending, although I think Toph would be a better teacher," added Petra, looking up to see Appa flying calmly over the entire Fire Nation fleet.

"Well, teach him together! You can guide Toph's knowledge. She's a bit wild, and I don't think she has the patience for a long teaching process," Mai replied. Petra touched her chin, lost in thought.

"You're right about that. But why didn't Shisui let Azula teach the Avatar?" the Earthbender asked, curious about the matter.

"Because Shisui has become overprotective of his fiancée. Didn't you see how he reacted when Azula's belly grew just a little? Now, if I even come near her, he gives me dirty looks," Ty Lee sighed, bored out of her mind.

"That's great. You were juggling hand grenades," said Mai, looking at her friend with a raised eyebrow, still unable to believe Ty Lee's audacity.

"They had the pins in! I'm not so clueless as to juggle live grenades," Ty Lee replied, noticing the strange looks from Mai and Petra, causing her girlfriend to shake her head.

"I don't know what's going on in your head. But that explains a lot. He's Shisui's first child, and he's always been protective of those around him," Petra said with a smile as she remembered the first time she met the Sage.

It was her first day of school, and the other children rejected her because of her family background. Although it didn't amount to bullying, being ignored is sometimes much worse.

Shisui then approached Zuko and spoke to him. The Waterbender boy who lived with the royal family spoke to an outcast Earthbender! Not only that, but the fact that the prince of the Fire Nation treated her like a normal friend changed Petra's situation dramatically.

Although she was no longer rejected by others, her group of friends remained closed off. Over time, they all grew up, became stronger, and even started dating each other. How interesting is that!

When someone tried to make things difficult for Petra because she was a 'Daughter of Misfortune,' Shisui helped her resolve the issue. Was it because they both shared the same title? Or maybe it was simply the way he was. In any case, the Sage became a personal friend and a brother to her.

'But now, some people are trying to ruin my brother's happiness. It seems I have never properly explored the Earth Kingdom. I'm looking forward to finding interesting things, like that special library.' Petra clenched her fists tightly before relaxing and smiling.

"If that's how it is with us, imagine when little Terumi is born! Shisui will become a controlling father!" Ty Lee exclaimed before turning her head toward the distance, where she saw Shisui looking at her with a strange expression on his face.

"If you do those dangerous juggling tricks near me again, I won't let you carry Terumi," Shisui said, issuing that cruel ultimatum. The color drained from Ty Lee's body as she ran to the Sage and took his hands.

"DON'T DO SOMETHING SO CRUEL! All right, I'll do it 50 meters away from Azula. But don't deny me carrying my future niece. Ever since I found out about Azula's pregnancy, I've been waiting for this moment!" Ty Lee cried, although, due to the big smile on her face, it was more of a playful game between her and Shisui.

Although she had no blood connection to the Sage or Princess Azula, the group of friends considered themselves family. Ty Lee genuinely considered herself the aunt of the unborn Terumi and considered Terumi her niece.

"Well, I don't want you to stop doing your art. Just be a little more careful," said Shisui, using waterbending to blow Ty Lee's tears aside. This caused her to quickly change her expression to a serious one, with no trace of her previous emotions.

"I understand. By the way, where are Azula and Zuko?" Ty Lee asked, looking around for her two friends.

"Deep meditation. Remember Uncle Iroh's letter where he said he discovered a way to enter the spirit world through meditation? They were guided by him to enter the spirit world," Shisui replied, smiling.

Ty Lee tilted her head.

"I feel like there's something else hidden in all this," she said, raising an eyebrow. She moved closer to Shisui, standing on tiptoe to get her face as close to the Sage as possible, as if she wanted to see something strange in his expression.

"I'm not lying!" Shisui complained, putting his hand on Ty Lee's face and pushing her back as she laughed.

"Do you remember when we created Raava's body a week ago? Agni wants to know more about it and has requested an audience with them. I don't know why he doesn't want to talk to me." Shisui shrugged before looking up and seeing the Flying Buffalo, Appa, descending.

According to Shisui, it was time for Aang's Earthbending lessons to begin on the high seas. Starting with something difficult would help the Avatar adapt more easily to the element opposite to air. However, it was probably because the Sage wanted to put a little pressure on his friend.

...

"Why don't you just bring Shisui? He uses the Spirit World as his playground," Zuko muttered, feeling uncomfortable due to his inability to use Firebending. But if he was like that, what would Azula be like?

She was on edge! She was already a bit of a drama queen, but she had learned to control her emotions over time. However, the Spirit World completely nullified one of the things that was an essential part of the princess, so she was upset.

"Uncle Iroh, I hate this place! I've never liked coming here. Only when I come with Shisui can I feel calm," Azula grumbled. She watched as her uncle picked some leaves from a tree and smelled them as if he were planning to make tea with them.

"Calm down, little Azu Azu. Don't you think this place is wonderful? Besides, I can use it to moderate your will and emotions. Believe me, as a future mother, you will need it," Iroh replied calmly.

His niece glared at him, but she recognized the wisdom in his words. She took a deep breath and calmed down.

"Human, those words are truly wise," a deep voice sounded in their minds, accompanied by a growing sensation of heat and an increase in ambient light.

A colossal dragon covered in golden scales that looked like molten gold emerged, its strange patterns constantly moving. Its form was a perfect blend of two types of dragons. After all, he was THE DRAGON, the Spirit of Fire and the Sun, Agni!

The ancestral spirit descended heavily upon them, flapping its wings and causing a great gale. Gray smoke came out of its mouth. Its golden, sparkling eyes looked at the humans with whom it had requested an audience, then looked into the distance.

Avatar Roku rode on the back of a red-scaled dragon, his spirit animal. He remained in the sky, watching over his descendants. Agni understood this clearly, so he was not bothered by the intrusion.

"I am flattered by your words, Lord Agni, but my advice is the result of a lifetime of experience," Iroh replied when he noticed the dragon had turned its attention back to them.

"I understand. Human life is fleeting but more fruitful than that of any normal spirit. Do not belittle yourself for that. I brought you here for some particular issues," said Agni, looking at the two young men and focusing first on Zuko.

"How does it feel to use the flame of the sun?" The spirit's question made Zuko lower his head in shame. After all, he had "stolen" this knowledge from Agni's scales, and now he thought this being had come to complain about it.

"Do not be ashamed, young human. You are not the only one capable of using those flames. Although I am the Spirit of Fire and the Sun, they do not belong to me. Didn't you create the Three-Legged Crow with your flames?

You could say he is the sun itself. Other spirits use fire too, so why can't you? I've only been interested in your mastery of this special flame. It's been a long time since any human has brought it to the earthly world," said Agni, noticing Zuko's mood. The prince looked up and saw a strange smile on the spirit's face.

"That you learned from my scales is somewhat flattering, but why do you represent that noisy crow? You should evoke my image! Not Shisui, who makes dragons with water," complained the spirit, acting like a small child. The humans present looked at each other, not knowing how to react.

"Stop putting weird things into the child's head!" A female voice rang out. If the atmosphere was already heated, it worsened when a three-legged crow covered in golden feathers appeared.

"Child, continue to represent me in the human world! How can people forget that I AM THE SUN? Not even the tribe that calls itself the Warriors of the Sun has images of me!" the female spirit growled. Agni simply snorted.

"It seems these two have something going on," the three humans thought in unison as they saw that, despite being at odds, both spirits were playing with each other.

"Anyway, there's also this girl. How did a human manage to learn the flames of that husband-stealing phoenix in Spirito World? Little human, your original blue flames were powerful enough. Why go for Yin flames?" Jinwu asked with obvious annoyance. Perhaps because of her mention, the intense lights soon weakened, the temperature dropped, and a rather seductive female voice was heard.

"Agni chose me, too! I'm no husband stealer!" A bird covered in light blue feathers, similar to the will-o'-the-wisps Azula created, descended. Its flapping wings created electric sparks that surrounded its body. She was more than just a bird. She was the Phoenix!

"Jinwu, Feng Huang, don't talk about our intimacy in front of humans," said Agni wearily. His wings instinctively surrounded the two spirits who curled up on his body.

'How lucky,' thought Iroh.

'Disgusting. How can they stand him hanging out with both of them?' thought Azula, annoyed by the situation because she inevitably thought of the women interested in Shisui, which made her grind her teeth.

'Don't have silly thoughts. Only Mai matters.' Instead of feeling envious, Zuko only had eyes for Mai, so he considered this normal.

"Let's discuss the special flames later. Humans, what happened a week ago in the Earthly World? We feel that Raava has fully manifested! We thought she would come to the Spirit World to meet us, but she hasn't shown any signs of entering. We are somewhat concerned," said Agni, causing Iroh to look at his nephew curiously. What had they done?

"Oh, that's easy. They didn't ask us to hide it." Raava wanted to find a way to roam the earthly world again without losing her connection to the Avatar. So, Shishui came up with a crazy plan that worked: give Raava a human body from scratch!" Zuko said casually, unaware of the impact of his words.

"WHAT THE HECK!? How could something like that actually work!?" Feng Huang exclaimed, causing Azula to shrug.

"Shisui was involved. He can make impossible things possible. He brought us together: a couple of earthbenders, two waterbenders besides himself, and the last airbender. Together, we created a body for Raava to use," Azula continued, finishing her older brother's sentence. The three ancient fire spirits, who had seen many things in their eternal lives, looked at each other in surprise.

Was this something humans could do? It seemed that the Earthly World was a little more interesting than before!

AN: OH NO AUTHOR, HOW DARE YOU PUT ELEMENTS OF CHINESE MYTHOLOGY IN A WORK THAT IS CLEARLY INSPIRED BY ASIAN MYTHOLOGIES? YOU !#$#%/%#"# , YOU SHOULD REMOVE IT BECAUSE *Sounds of deep blowjob*

Yes, I'm going to go wild with this author's note. Of course, I'm going to include elements from that culture! I already mentioned the nine-tailed fox, a Japanese mythological creature. I don't know much about Korean culture, but if it fits, I'll definitely include something. I also referenced Gaia, who is like Agni, Tui, and La. What about the air? You can suggest a super-deity or spirit related to wind, and I can refer to it. I had Quetzalcoatl in mind, a feathered serpent. (Avatar also includes pre-Columbian culture, Inuit culture, and maybe some North American Native culture; maybe, not all totems are from that culture.)

In Avatar, there are several examples of spirits with overlapping elements. For instance, Raava is the spirit of light and encompasses the concept of fire. So, yes, the phoenix may have lightning, but so does the kilin, which has already appeared. So has the Kung Peng, which has air and water. Surprise! It appeared!

Other than that, it's annoying how people can say "Chinese racism" while saying the most racist and xenophobic things themselves. Keep in mind that I'm from Latin America. I don't identify with any political spectrum (right, left, center, up, down, front, back, or any other space-time axis you can think of), so this has nothing to do with politics.

We are going to enjoy a story that is reaching its final stage. Most of the adventures of Avatar: The Last Airbender take place in the Earth Kingdom, including the fortune teller with the volcano, the owl spirit's library, the Swamp Water Tribe, and Bumi.

Oh yes, Dragon = Harem. What did you expect from a dragon?
