Starley was feeling emotional again now. Raul didn't need to go this far. But for some reason, Starley was touched right now. Starley shook her head.
"You don't have to do this, Raul," Starley exclaimed.
"No, it has to be done; it also makes me feel more at ease. I miss you so much and I'm sure it won't hurt you. But, we don't know what will happen; sometimes there are things beyond our control. It's those things beyond our control that I'm afraid of," Raul explained at length. Starley looked at Raul for a moment.
"Then, I have to make it happen too!" Starley replied, not wanting to lose. Raul raised his eyebrows, and then his eyes sparkled with amusement.
"Make what, cupcake?" Raul asked gently while brushing Starley's hair aside.
Starley stood up, looking for a pen. Then she wrote something at the bottom of the agreement on the table. Raul got up from his seat and approached Starley, trying to peek at what she was writing. But Raul couldn't catch what Starley was writing.
