Chapter 203 - The Redeemer

Cedric crossed his arms as he nodded. Not only had the ground become fertile land, but the skies turned bright blue. While the land was devoid of any life, it was still fertile ground, thus life would flourish.

However, as Cedric turned to the gods, he knew it was not over. The gods were useless to the gods' mission if they remained bound to the former Lands of Chalk. Thus, he understood one thing: he had been granted the privilege of summoning the redeemer for exactly this purpose.

The former gods stared at him with both awe and horror. He had, with a wave of his hand, created beings capable of reversing the damage done by Chrunus. He raised his hands toward them, "The actions you witnessed were made possible by God's grace."

While they were confused, Cedric had learned to accept it. They, too, were tricked. Merely because God had granted them some power, they were tricked into believing they were gods by a demon named Chrunus.

He clenched his fists as he turned toward the barren lands.

"I shall now call upon the Redeemer, one that will fix your flawed forms, and return you to the form that God wanted you to don! You will bear the sainthood as the ones who stood against the demonic tyrant!" He opened his hand and cast [Create Angelic Construct: Seraphim].

An angelic melody echoes around him, and the serene presence of God's Closest Angel saturates the air.

Yet the Redeemer's summoning was not as grand as Alael's or Zamiel's. A song echoed and soothed all who heard it. A holy circle covered the sky, pure white in color, reminiscent of a fresh snowflake.

The gentle sunlight washed over the land, and the melody reverberated and echoed through the entirety of Father's realm.

A whirlwind of pristine white feathers formed in front of Cedric before it quickly dissipated. The Redeemer was truly elegant, lacking any flair of the other Seraphim. Why would she need to make a grand entrance if she was merely here to point those who accepted Christ to Heaven?

Much like Alael and Zamiel, she had a form of entity with 16 wings and many eyes.

She was radiant, her form washed the land in pure white light that soothed all who it fell on.

Even Cedric himself felt soothed and at ease due to her presence.

"Beloved Father... I have come to answer your call once more... I bring your salvation to those who accept it..."

A whirlpool of feathers coalesced before him as the Angel turned into a woman with long white hair, soft golden eyes.

On her head, she wore an elegant white tiara.

She had 6 wings and wore an elaborate white dress.

Overall, she was a world-class beauty who could make anyone's heart skip a beat.

"Beloved Father, I have come and am ready to fulfill your will." Her voice was melodic, much like Sophia's, yet infinitely kinder.

She picked up her dress from the sides and curtsied before Cedric. She did not kneel, for it was unnecessary; it was well known who she served, and there was no need to prove it.

Cedric cracked a smile, 'Finally, a seraph that does not kneel.'

"Redeemer, I name you. Miliel."

Her eyes widened as she dropped to her knees. Despite not needing to kneel, what else could she do when beloved Father had offered her a show of love so grand that she felt as if she could faint?

"I... THANK YOU, FATHER!" She shouted as she bowed deeply. "I love you so much!" She placed her hands on her chest.

Cedric blinked slowly. The moment he thought she wouldn't kneel, she fell to her knees."Miliel, rise. There is no reason for you to kneel."

With a nod, she pushed herself up, "Forgive me, Father. What is your will?"

Cedric turned toward the gods, "I want you to grant them redemption, their existence makes them unable to exist in the mortal world for long, and they depend on false worship. This cannot stand. As ones who have made it possible to strike down a great demon, they shall be granted sainthood if God wills it."

Miliel nodded. Her gaze washed over the trembling gods. They witnessed Father's power and were rightfully afraid, yet Miliel did not wish them to fear. For they were saved.

"I understand, Father." She took a step forward and raised her hand towards them. "In the name of my beloved Father, I will grant you salvation. You who were false have seen the light in Father; thus I have come."

She approached the first goddess. "What is your name?"

"Fortuna, Ma'am!" She eagerly shouted.

She then walked toward the orange-haired goddess, "Yours?"

"Natura, my lady!"

Her gaze snapped to the hooded god.

"Payne, Madam!" He bowed deeply.

Each god introduced themselves slowly, as Miliel nodded.

"You all carry beautiful names, yet stained by the sins of the past. I will cleanse you and make you into what you were supposed to be!" She turned and put distance between the group.

"Fortuna, step forward. You will be the first to be granted salvation as the reason Father's will reached this place so quickly."

Fortuna nodded as she pushed herself up and approached Miliel.

She was worried, yet she trusted the Angels with her life. They saved her and her sisters and thus were worthy of blind faith. "I am ready..."

"Excellent, in the name of the Father, I cleanse you and make you into what you were meant to be! [Rewrite Entity]"
